FSU defense with a great stand after the punt team blunder!
That defense understands the assignment tonight. I hope they can pull it off.

Can’t believe with all these Louisville guys in the box, Keon Coleman can’t get open. I know the qb is terrible but this guy is supposed to be a top-10 pick.

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Bama
4. FSU
Sorry, FSU went undefeated, with a pretty good schedule. Just because their qb is hurt, it doesn't negate an undefeated season.
Edit: I'd listen to arguments for Texas, but, imo, Georgia is out. Sorry, great season, but you lost the wrong game at the wrong time.

Right. Although I believe Texas should be in ahead of Alabama, there's no way Texas and Alabama both jump FSU. The committee told us FSU was #4 and Texas was #7 and Alabama #8 before today. Texas beating Oklahoma State isn't going to jump them ahead of FSU, who beat a better opponent today and is undefeated.

If it comes down to Bama vs. FSU - both beat LSU. Bama has wins against Georgia and Ole Miss vs. FSU with wins against Louisville and Miami. I think the committee doesn’t hold the Texas loss against Bama and the QB injury - think Bama gets it.

It is hard to believe they are going to leave the SEC champion out, but I think they will. I do honestly think Alabama has done more than FSU. LSU is their best win, it is Bama's 3rd best win. They beat #1 Georgia, #11 Ole Miss, #13 LSU, and #21 Tennessee. FSU beat #13 LSU, #14 Louisville, and #23 Clemson. I hate that an injury is a factor, but losing Travis was a major blow. In the end I think the rankings will be Michigan, Washington, Texas, FSU.

Very proud of how this Alabama team grew throughout the year.

If they say Bama is in over Texas, just shut it down. H2H has to matter vs “I feel…”

I agree and I want Texas in but Oklahoma beat Texas, so why not Oklahoma over Texas? Because Texas has a better overall resume so that trumps OU's H2H win?

Well on that front, Bama beat 3 top 15 teams and lost to #6. Texas beat 1 top 15 team and lost to #12.

Honestly Bama and Georgia should skip the bowls and schedule a game on the day the rest of the chumps play for a trophy and let earth decide who the champion is.

Tell it to earth.

That one is easy - OU has two losses. Bama and Texas have the same number of losses and are both conference champs. The factor that should matter is they played AND they played at Bama and we know who won.

Bama’s argument would have more validity if it was at Texas IMO. With it being st Bama, there’s no excuse.

There's no hard and fast rule about losses. Losses are just a part of a resume. Teams are ranked ahead of other teams that have fewer losses all the time. liberty has fewer losses than Texas. So is it resume, or is it H2H?

I'm playing devil's advocate here a bit because, like I said, I think it should be Texas. if the goal is the 4 best teams, who would win on a neutral field between Bama and Texas? Well Texas won by 10 on a non-neutral field at Alabama, so I think we've answered that. So I want Texas, for the same reason I've been consistent in the past with the same argument about not having both OSU/Mich in, or not having both UGA/Bama in, etc.

Plus, **** Alabama.

But in the past the committee has made it clear that they look for the 4 most deserving teams, not necessarily the 4 best. And if you're going just on resume, it seems like Bama's is clearly better with both significantly better wins and a "better" loss. So that's why I see them getting in in the end, even though I personally think it should be Texas.

If Bama and UGA are out I think Washington would be my pick. Penix will be the best QB left and they’ve got a great RB and WRs. Competent defense and they play a style that won’t be easy to defend.

Several in the Shark Pool have been talking up the greatest QB class ever....didn't see much of that today.

For the record I say it will be Michigan - Texas in the rose and UW - FSU in the sugar. Bad break for UW if that happens at least for travel. Will be an FSU home game in there.
