I'm sure he does. But if you've ever dealt with someone dealing with a mental health crisis, it's not as easy as just showing up. It's a really complicated process to get a person in his state of mind to understand the situation and act upon it.
His perception is reality, as is all of ours. Imagine someone coming up to you trying to convince you that the sun is blue. That's where he seems to be.
You’re right. I would hope he has some kind of support system doing all they can. I just feel bad for him.

He's a grown man with plenty of money not harming anyone. Saying a bunch of dumb stuff online, and seeing conspiracy everywhere is not illegal, and if it was, there would be very little traffic on our streets. I am just saying that the way he is behaving, he still has freedom.
I have no idea what the issue is, but I will take a random guess at ketamine. i know it's assumed this is a mental episode he is having, but I have an acquaintance who went of the deep end with K, and it reminds me of this. Random conflicts created out of nowhere, going back and forth between paranoia and cheery. This might just be drugs

Chandler sounds like he's finding meaning in symbols and the like. This is very dangerous. If he's a threat to himself or those around him, he can be taken in for medical mental health reasons. That's generally the standard, but I have no idea what Las Vegas or Nevada law is.
I do know that there was a two-pronged test that was used around where I was from and it is this: Is he at risk to harm himself? Is he at risk to harm others?
I do not know what evidence is required to get him to the level of "at risk."
If he keeps up with the targeted Tweets and the like, it could be surmised that he's a threat to those he targets and intervention might be necessary.
What a horrible thing for he and his family to be going through. I wish him the best and hope he gets the help he desperately needs.
Oh, don't know if any of you guys saw this, but this is generally how it goes. They probably did a risk assessment.

Watching USC dismantle Colorado right now and Williams definitely looks like a #1 overall draft pick. But they have a kid on the Dline named Bear Alexander that wrecking shop on the Colorado Oline. I know Colorado is over-hyped and the Oline is not very good, Bear looks like Jalen Carter last season, just dominating.

He had a $13mm cap hit this year, so releasing him actually frees up ~$1mm in 2023 cap, despite the dead cap charge.
The $12mm in 2024 dead cap was baked in regardless. Even if he hadn't gone sideways, there was zero chance they were going to pay him the $17mm in non-guaranteed salary he was due next year. By cutting him next offseason they were going to get hit with that $12mm 2024 dead cap, so this doesn't change that at all.
Biggest (new) miss to this right now IMO is the roster spot he took up the first two weeks. During that window they lost Sam Webb and McLendon Curtis from the PS. Pretty sure at least one of those two would still be a Raider had they cut or NFI'd Chan from go, like I had been suggesting they might do this preseason. :(
