2023 Las Vegas Raiders - RIP Jack - one of the greatest Super Bowl moments ever (2 Viewers)

I didn’t see shooter in the preseason. very Strange throwing motion. It looks like he’s throwin* it as hard as he can every time.

AOC looks better than JG , those fumbles werent his fault, but that INT hurt
Has to be more careful with the football in a muddy pocket. He just dropped the first one and the second one it wasn't like he got blasted. I don't see how the fumbles weren't mostly on him.

The Chargers were missing Bosa, James and Ekeler. Not to mention Herbert played the 2nd half with his non throwing hand in a splint and they still couldn’t score over 20 pts.

This team needs a rebuild and it is likely coming after next season at the latest. I don’t see how McDaniel is kept around after this season but he will definitely be gone after next season. The Raiders need to trade away any player they can now and start obtaining draft capital. I know, I know. I sound like a broken record but this team is more than just 2 or 3 players away. It’s is about 8-10 players away and the current path isn’t working and isn’t going to work.

So, how long are we obligated to pretend to believe O'Connell may be the future before we can sincerely start committing to going after Caleb Williams?

It looks like that commitment was made months ago but the final push needs to happen now. Trade Adams and anybody else that has any bit of value. Move on from Josh. Of course the drafting has to be much improved too. In 3 years we could be competitive.

mcD is mcDone!

I've seen enough. guy just doesn't have what it takes as a head coach in this league.

I like O'Connell, but the coach spent all the money on offense and they don't score points. defense overachieves at times, but can't hold up for an entire game with a poor offense.

keep aoc, fire mcD

Not so fun fact, with this loss Josh McDaniels now has a lower winning percentage than the following head coaches:

Adam Gase
Ben McAdoo
Bruce Coslet
Gregg Williams
Marc Trestman
Steve Spurrier

A real who's who of failure.
Even Jeff Saturday is 1-0 vs Josh

I'm over the JMD era. I'd happily eat crow if he turned it around, but that may be the safest thing I've ever said in person or on the interwebs..

I'd give AOC more time, no reason not to. But do worry that JMD will ruin his prospects ... not saying he's a hall of famer, pro-bowler, or out of the league next year... just think this coaching limits his potential, what ever it is.

Can someone please get Pittsburgh on the horn and lets trade coaching staffs, but they get to keep Canada (I'm fine with it being both the Country and the OC, for the record)

Wut. is He your cousin?
You think it was just a coincidence that with AOC on the field the Raiders suddenly found their run game ?
He throws further and more accurate than JG
6.1 y/a, 61.5%

I thought he frequently threw behind his receivers. Not sure I recall him throwing anyone open except for Asante Samuel Jr.

There may be something to work with here but let's not overstate it.

He is lucky to even belong to this group
