I don't have a problem with the coach not getting along with waller or renfrow. the problem is holding on to players too long and not trading when they still have decent value.

the receivers mcD likes are getting open. the problem is at quarterback and mcD picked his guys, so the suck is on him.

renfrow can stay or go. the only downside is getting not much in compensation.

It`s not just those 2 players , its most of the team if not all of them, hes lost the locker room for reason, it has to be a combination of ineptitude and his off putting personality .

The problem with us looking in and making assumptions about how people are in real life, is we don’t know squat about them. Did anyone have chandler jones is conspiracy fruitcake on their bingo card? Speaking to your Waller comment, I know plenty of addicts and recovered addicts. They don’t tend to have the most stable baselines. i have no clue what waller is like personally. Carr outside his raiders bubble is starting to show cracks in his Saint carr persona. Renfrow? Who knows. Seems likeable but he might be a raging a hole on the down low.

and don’t forget, all of these guys are type A competitors fighting for a very limited number of jobs. Fighting to feed their families(in the manor that they’re accustomed to ) When it comes down to it, if mcD is f’ing with their livelyhoods(he is) there’s going to blow back. no matter who is “right”

Let's say that all the instances of conflict with McD.... going back to at least Denver..... are all about everyone else. Which is a hard argument to make even when McD himself admitted he made mistakes when in Denver. Let's say that....

Ok. Still. We have RB and line capable of leading the league in rushing. We have the best WR in the game. We brought in another WR who was the #1 on his previous team. We have another WR who has a 100 catch season under his belt. We drafted a rookie TE that has all the skills to excel. And with all of this.... all of this.... our coach who is supposed to be an offensive genius has us 3rd to last in points per game. Dead last in rushing yards per game. Beating out only 5 other teams for total yards per game. Oh, and that guy that has a 100 catches... he has been ignored completely.

Relax... I am a born and raised Californian with my entire family from there and most still there. Also, a family with a deep history in issues with adiction and I grew up basically going to AA meetings.

I think a lot of these reports get overblown. If you talk to certain players after a bad loss you will get them venting frustration.

Hondo made a great point about this in a recent video. He said that there are players who don't like mcD on the team currently, but they are the outliers. Most of the team is still on board because it's a lot of his guys and also why would they want him gone if it means another rebuild. Any new coach that comes in is going to do the same thing any new HC does, bring in their own guys and start the process all over again. It's better for the players on the roster if the team can turn the corner on offense and get it going in the right direction. Being against your coach when the team is at 3-4 with majority of the losses being close games. It doesn't make much sense from the players perspective.

we're just frustrated fans here. the players get frustrated too, but they also have more reason to stick with their coach.

I applaud mcD for getting rid of waller and carr. Neither were getting the job done for one reason or another. Waller became a cap hit sitting on the bench or at home all season and carr didn't fit the offense for more reasons than getting along with the coach. Seeing how both are performing on their new teams, mcD got those 2 right.

Dreading this game

I feel like I’m coming a long way in my quest to give less of a sh1t about this team. I honestly have almost no feelings about this game tonight. If the lions win, good for them in their quest to get out of the “worst franchises in the NFL“ gutter. Seems the Raiders are doomed to remain in that gutter.
of course I type this when I’m not sitting in front of the TV with the game action in full motion. Let’s see where my “give less of a ****” level is at in the 4th quarter tonight.

more importantly for me, I have Adams in 1 fantasy league and need 16, but I have Adams going against me in another league where I lead by 21. I’m hoping to thread the needle. That’s the emotional waves I’ll really be riding tonight

Same. I don’t care much about the Raiders since they are years away from being playoff caliber. Heck, they aren’t even on the path to being playoff caliber. I will probably watch the second quarter of tonight’s game like I do most Monday nights. It feels like any other Monday night game and it’s not worth staying up late. I expect the Raiders to lose by 13 tonight. Hard to get excited about that.

I'll be watching tonight. I barely remember the last game because I was still half drunk from the night before when I watched. if one thing came out of that game it's that hoyer should not be starting when jimmy meatball is injured. hoyer was supposed to know the offense better, but it didn't look better than what the rookie showed against the chargers.

team is 3-4. I've watched when the team had a worse record with less talent. that's what's frustrating, there is talent on the roster on offense, receivers have been getting open. the tight ends are starting to show up. we know the run game opens up when deep completions are made.

the bears game looked like mcD planned things out thinking the bears wouldn't be able to score. like he was planning to play it safe and win with field goals again. offense was predictable and never showed up. not until it was too late and O dawg came in.

with the meatball continuing his legacy of being knocked out of games. it's only a matter of time until alexandia ocasio-cortez is starting

Hunter for Hunter ?

Hunter has nine sacks and a dozen TFLs, which is also the most in the league. Trade rumors have surrounded Hunter for nearly two years, but the Vikings patched things over with a one-year deal in the offseason. Unless they can agree on a new deal in the spring, Hunter will become a free agency and earn a massive contract if he keeps this pace up. With Kirk Cousins out for the year, Minnesota should be ready to put their season to bed and send Hunter off as a half-season rental for a team looking to make a playoff push. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Vikings “are at least listening” to offers for Hunter.
