Nice play there from Dax Hill to break up the deep downfield throw to Christian Watson
Great speed by Hill to get to it but thought Love's throw wasn't great. He put too much air on it, when it was cover 2. Needed to be on a rope.

Packers offense overall looked solid, with the caveat that they were using all their starters vs mostly backups. Still was nice to see all of Watson, Doubs, Reed, and Musgrave involved.

Gibbs a big part of last Lions drive. A few decent runs, a big catch on 3rd, and a block to keep Sudfeld protected. Also was a long bomb to Jameson Williams that just missed (perhaps a bit overthrown, but still hit Jamo's hands). Riley Patterson makes a 39-yarder, which shouldn't be news, but there is a K battle here.

Jamo blew it, replay looked like a perfect throw right in his hands

Not a fan of Jameson’s trajectory (on and off the field), however let’s remember Chase last preseason. Kid needs to start stacking some positives soon though.

Exactly what I was thinking. Traded him for the #11 pick a few weeks ago, would be interesting to offer the #20 to get him back if his whole preseason should turn out to be dismal.

Skylar Thompson hits the rookie, Achane on a bang bang 3rd and 7, Achane took a hit going into the middle and managed to catch it, looks to have picked up the 1st down.

Big catch if this holds and Skyler Thompson finally in the game and the offense doesn't look as constipated.
Mike White sucks!!!

Achane has looked good catching the football
Achane took the opening kick off back for 40 yds, you could see his speed on full display with some blocking
Achance has 10 for 25 on the ground, I can't explain Gaskin 7/57 but Achane been hit a few times in the back field.
Achane has 3/38 receiving and Miami has done nothing on offense all night, literally nothing.
Mike White sucks, he really does

I thought Jordan Love looked pretty decent. Or at least better than I was expecting.
Tell us more please
What did you see, what impressed you, how quick were his decisions?
Had good command of the offense. Quick decisions. Missed a wide open TE Musgrave. Was pretty accurate otherwise. Had a WR deep that would've gone for a TD except for a great break up by the safety. Ball was on the money though. The Packers offense will be good

I liked the connection he had with Doubs. He made a pretty ugly shuttle pass attempt, but otherwise he seemed to be making good decisions. His accuracy was better than I was expecting.

I also noted Evans was handing KR duty, while Brown started. Read those tea leaves however you'd like. :-)

I didn't think either guy looked all that great, but GB run defense might be good.

Howell threw a beautiful TD to Dotson. Howell is so much better than anything Washington had at QB last year. There is no way this offense isn't significantly better with Howell and EB calling plays. I don't know good there record will be, as they have a MUCH harder schedule this year compared to last, but I believe the team will be MUCH better.

And the RB Washington took late in the draft out of Kentucky looks really good.

Had my shot and lost him at auction after nobody picked him up in our dynasty league. I couldn't go that high for the third RB. But Bieniemy has been talking him up all year, and he may just be on to something.

Russ Wilson having a rough go of it tonight for Denver vs...Arizona?
I haven't seen many starting QBs out there in the preseason but Wilson has been in there the entire 1st Q, looks lost or not grasping the offense.
Sean Payton, what does he do if Wilson really is the problem?
Denver paid him a truckload of money and they really cannot get out of the contract

They look really bad.

Denver OL not looking good. Cardinals getting constant pressure. Zaven Collins made some nice plays from his new position at OLB if you're in IDP and need to know that type of thing. Denver should've kept McManus, 0-2 on FG attempts

Its been a little weird. He's looked like he should whenever he has had time, but his reaction to pressure (once his biggest strength) has been awful. He's been panic throwing, which is particularly worrisome, as it was an issue last season. Jeudy has been open a few times, and Russ hasn't seen him.

Not much Dulcich with the 1st team.

Perine running really hard. Looks really good. Javonte truthers check your back shoulder here.

Nah, Javonte has the job. Just Perine looked good there.
He's avg 3.3 ypc and the offense has looked like crap with Russ
I'm sizing up Perine in redraft, so far this offense looks like hot garbage
Starting to want no part of it
Kind of what I've been thinking watching this so far. I know he's been pressured quite a bit, but Russ looks a lot like he did last year.

Jerry Jeudy wide open
Jerry Jeudy drops the football

Next play...

Jerry Jeudy catches it and walks into the end zone, OK maybe he strolled
What a nice play call by Payton

Non-fantasy related, but my wife walked in and asked if that was Jesse Ventura calling this Cardinals game.

Bad drop by Jeudy (that's often part of his game) but man, he's been open pretty much the entire game. No reason he shouldn't be able to make a run at 90+ catches if he can stay healthy, even without good QB play. Jeudy had 33 catches over the last 5 games last season, once he got healthy. Even with the TD, I wonder if Wilson's performance moves Jeudy's ADP down slightly.

Made a nice one-handed grab on the 2-point conversion and later had a couple good catches. Also, couple of great downfield blocks, which actually matters on that team.

Jamo is getting outplayed by lesser talent and tbh doesn't deserve to be a starter rn. But they're going to douse him in reps throughout the preseason and they def have plans for him to be a big part of their offense. But it's rough rn, he runs incorrect routes and simply isn't doing enough to warrant a starting job. Uber talented, no question he has the potential to be an elite playmaker, but they will not hand him anything. He has to clean his game up. I think he will but I'm not making excuses for him - that was a bad drop and frankly he doesn't have a long leash. Talent alone is not enough to be a star in the Not For Long league. The are close to 3000 talented athletes fighting for jobs rn and with the investment they made in him, gonna have to start producing at a high level soon.

IDP FF folks

You're gonna want Jack Campbell on every one of your teams

Stacking and shedding, dropping into routes, dude is gonna be a force of nature

Nice. Unfortunately he went 1.09 in our dynasty FF draft and I had taken an offensive player at 1.05 (traded up from the 1.12 to take Kendre Miller, which is a bit of a rocky road here). I don't think I'll regret it and can't chastise myself for it (that's too high for a linebacker), but he seems like an MLB in the league for a long time. He seems like a solid IDP dynasty pick and nobody should really hesitate.

That said, I read that he hadn't been running with the first team (at least according to reports). So maybe not quite this year until he gets adequate seasoning.

they have a few good position battles going on in TC, and who plays ILB next Anzalone is kind of up in the air - Derrick Barnes has really stepped up this summer

Campbell looks spectacular but there's a lot of competition; Malcolm Rodriguez, a darling last year as a rookie, is looking like he'll be mostly special teams this year

Thoughts on the East Coast version of KC offense in Washington and the pecking order on receptions?

Good luck with that. That's the $25,000 question. New QB, so Wentz's love affair with Dotson won't carry over necessarily.

All three guys are meritorious in some way.

Dotson/McLaurin
Samuel

That's the best I can do. Pressed, I'd say Dotson then McLaurin then Samuel, but Terry proves me wrong every time I open el boca, so. . .

Sean Clifford showed absolutely no fear throwing into tight windows. Despite the two picks, there is a lot of love for him in the you-tube comments. Love better stay healthy because Clifford definitely showing some Brock Purdy like qualities.

My impression was similar. Encouraged that he looked comfortable in the pocket and on the couple of bootlegs. Threw on time and mostly on target. Had the big miss to the Musgrave on 3rd down. He was wide open and Love sailed it high, would have been a long completion. And then the miss on the deep ball to Watson. Little too much air and didn't quite look the safety off enough. The TD was nice touch and trusting Doubs to go up and make the play.
Overall...solid, nothing spectacular, but also nothing that looked glaring or really bad.

Russ is gone after this year if they don't look decent

All Jahmyr Gibbs touches, and pass pro.

I thought his pass pro was darn good
He's a little wiry but did a really good job of standing up guys that have 80 pounds on him. And as a runner, he gets vertical quickly which is always nice to see.

At 'bama last year - when they uncharacteristically had an average OL by their standards - his inside running stats were crazy. On 21/22 dive plays he went 44-407-3, with 13 forced missed tackles and 11 runs of 10+ (longest were 58 and 72 yards.) This was against high level SEC competition. Insanely quick acceleration, he gets up to top gear very quickly.
