BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading center Mark Williams to the Phoenix Suns for the No. 29 pick tonight and a 2029 first-round pick, sources tell ESPN

Crazy. Williams hasnt stayed healthy and due a new deal.

I totally get it desperately needing bigs n the middle but man.

They announce Maluach as a Rocket. Then at the next pick announce he's been traded. Then announce the #11 pick to Portland, and he's already been traded. This is so stupid.

Coward to Blazers.

and apparently heading to Memphis in a trade. Guy is well mature beyond his years from the interviews I've heard from him. Have zero doubt it helped boost his stock

I pride myself on not watching a moment of college basketball until the tournament.

With that in mind, and considering these top ten picks, two questions?

How did Duke not win it?

How did Rutgers not even make the tournament?

Damn. Never like trading down but I like this

The Grizzlies are sending No. 16, a 2028 first-round pick via Orlando and two seconds to Portland for Cedric Coward, sources said.

Find a compliment to Wemby (Fleming/Wolf?)

Mocked McNeeley there but Carter Bryant still there too and get a spot up shooter. Guess could slide Bryant to 4 but theyve got a glut of wings

Was hoping for the Wolves to get Sorber.

Hoping for Jakucionis or whatever now. I wanted a big man, but Jakucionis should have been gone at 8.

NBA draft tomorrow night. Anybody mocking up drafts? Who will your team draft? Who do you want?

For my Spurs, unless Nico chooses to Nico, they will be taking Harper with the #2. It's a no-brainer (I know no-brainers).

With the 14, lots of things can happen. If the Spurs play it out and don't trade the pick, Thomas Sorber is my guy. I think he could complement Wemby as part of a 2-big lineup, and could provide some sorely needed front court presence when Victor is being rested.

If the Spurs go with a wing instead, sign me up for some Cedric Coward.

If they go with a project, Joan Beringer. Love the prospect, but he needs a lot of development ... converted soccer goalie who started playing basketball just four years ago.
1. Dallas - Flagg
2. San Antonio - Harper
3. 76ers: VJ Edgecombe
4. Hornets: Knueppel
5. Jazz: Fears
6. Zards: Tre Johnson
7. Pels: Ace Bailey
8. Brooklyn: Egor Demin
9. Toronto: Maluach
10. Phoenix: Asa Newell - as hell bent as they've been to add defense / a center, someone like Sorber wouldn't shock.
11. Portland: Carter Bryant
12. Bulls: Noa Essengue
13. Hawks: Cedric Coward
14. San Antonio: Liam McNeeley
Jakucionis? :missing:
A nice value here as closing in at 20.

High upside but obvious warts appeared the last couple months this past season (he did hurt his forearm/wrist so could be a reason for his carelessness with the ball).

I think he'd be a fantastic fit with MN. And Brooklyn along with Demin but MN screams great fit with Conley nearing the end (JMO Dillingham is more of a potential quick offense bench scorer)
