2024 Mid Year Song Draft (1 Viewer)

Lots of interaction between artists this year. Theres one u keep wanting to take because I love both bands, but just don't feel the particular songs they did together.

So instead... Another oldie favorite and some randoms I'll never hear again.

6- I. C. E. 2- Chilly Gonzalez l, Kryptic Joe, etc.

Inveterate gun jumper (I'll be out this afternoon) posting my AM and PM selections. These two best buds belong together. It is only fitting they should be next to each other on the playlist as well.

6 Push Ups - Drake

7 Not Like Us - Kendrick Lamar

Two great tastes that taste great together. Sorry I missed them when they co-hesdlined nearby.

4. Dancer- IDLES, LCD Soundsystem

I'm tempted to see IDLES with English Teacher in September but they're playing a mid sized arena and of course the floor is sold out and the seats are more than half available, don't think it will be the same vibe as when I saw them for the first time in a tent at 1 AM at Bonnaroo, six weeks or so ago, I may just keep that as my IDLES experience for now.

Can't wait for this album

6.NV - Nineteen - Charly Bliss

So....... I've been totally super excited about this album, however, each of the singles I've heard so far has been a bit of a letdown for me. :oldunsure:
I saw someone describe this song as Swiftcore and while that's undeniably true, I love those Folklore/Evermore albums, so I'm fine with it

Sorry... I just removed a tune from the playlist by mistake. It was a woman pop/style singer. No idea the name of artist or tune... Sorry!

Might be all my exes live in vortexes from the looks of it but apparently i have no idea how to add to collaborative playlists anymore. edit - i figured it out/it started working again. Maybe @Eephus had me blocked :oldunsure:

I saw them with Fontaines dc for Joy as an act of resistance. Both bands were great, great midsized location. Had tickets to see them at a small spot for Brutalism, but the wife scheduled our one activity for the year on the same damned night.

Playlist is fixed. There were a bunch of missing songs from yesterday. I couldn't find any songs deleted by El Floppo unless it was one of among those from yesterday.

My 2024 Spotify playlist seems to have been mysteriously purged. Some of the bands you guys have taken, I know I've playlisted this year... But not there now.

Any body else having this problem?

Also- I set this playlist to shuffle, and it seems to be including different songs not on the Playlist by the same artists. Anybody else?

This is Spotify's dreaded "smart shuffle" feature where the algorithm random inserts similar songs into the shuffle. The icons look almost identical; the only difference is a star in the upper left corner.

Just a reminder as we head into the weekend:

Round 9 - this afternoon

Round 10 - Saturday

Round 11 - Sunday - for those who are continuing on

Rounds 12-20 next week

7.ee Yannis & The Yaw - Walk Through Fire

Side project from the singer of Foals featuring legendary Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen (RIP)
