If you replaced Mahomes with Dak, would you still be alive?
5 under rather than 10.
The only QB who would have advanced me to the finals for Mahomes price or less would have been Shedeur Sanders who wasn't offered. If I'd flown solo at QB with Goff and drafted JSN instead of Mahomes I'd be moving on. I cleared the cut by 40 during Goff's bye week. So basically the only path past this week wasn't via another QB.

Turns out I didn't need much from Woody to move on to the finals, but I'll take the extra points. I believe this is my third time making it to the end in something like 15+ years of participating in this contest. If memory serves, I've typically finished somewhere in the 20th to 80th place range, but I honestly can't remember exactly. I did manage to get a free one-year subscription at some point. Does anyone know if we have access to historic data for previous contest years somewhere?

All of my players underperformed in week 14. I wasn't even close with 104.05 points. I had Herbert and Keenan for MNF and they would've needed very good scores to keep me in.

What a fun, cool run. I took some calculated risks. They went my way for 13 weeks. Like I said in another post, I realized I built a team with a week 14 problem, but don't think I've ever made it as far as week 10--so why not load up on the week 14 byes?
The luck ran out when the biggest risk (the week 14 bye insanity) was staring me in the face.
It's easy to say if I had London or Benson this week. But that's the luck factor catching up. I've had great luck for so long and just finally ran out of lucky.
It's been a lot of fun following this every week with everyone. @rzrback77 @formerfourdigit congrats on making the Finals! I hope one of you can win it and the other gets 2nd.

I was eliminated in week 10 by 0.5 points but above cut line in every other week too. I've never made the second part of the contest but this tells me my method wasn't so off base.

not sure "peaking" at #5 this week sets me up for success or failure in the playoffs, but either way, its an honor and privilege to make it this far.

Got really lucky and made it! Came in 2nd place back in 2020. Also extremely lucky.
I was looking for the check stub on the bulletin board behind my desk because I couldn't remember the year I came in the money. Had it covered up with the our stats from volunteering at the St. Louis Food Bank last year. I would LOVE to get them 5k! Without using the analyzer, I want to try a few guesses...
QB Matthew Stafford - very cheap, and scoring like a stud
RB Kyle Monangai - started slow, but has been excellent as of late
WR - George Pickens - have to say him, because I rostered him
TE - Harold Fannin - A steal who pushed Njoku aside quickly

Congrats gents! I am still in it too with my lineup I posted…but edited as I can’t type…lol…and then thought I would have a new lineup before final submittal…but work got in the way…so…here we are!
I got $100 from Joe 2 of the last 3 years….and woulda, coulda had a badge this year but feeling lucky just to still be in it this year due to an "experimental lineup" that was truly not intended to be my "final lineup"
