and

add (325-yards allowed)/20

mean?

Example with the Packers defense:(24 minus 3 points allowed)/2 = 21/2 = 10.5+(325 minus 424 yards allowed)/20 = -99/20 = -9.95So 10.5 + (-9.95) = 0.55-QG

Surprising amount of stability in the top 12. I'd expect that to keep changing though... This week's champ was playing for the first time, and it doesn't take much to "pop" with one good week.

Just a quick PSA, if you are only answering 60 questions, be careful that one of them doesn't involve a player on a bye.Today I submitted 16 answers, but one of them was disallowed because it included Allen Bradford who was waived by the Bucs this week, then picked up by Seattle who is on a bye. I thought I had been given a free one, but it turned out to be invalid and now I have only made 59 picks this week, not qualifying for the week.I PM'd Doug asking for a reset, but just thought I'd let everyone know so you can avoid this scenario.

Well, never heard from Doug and now I'm a bit annoyed by the situation. I assumed that since I was given the question, it would count. Now that it doesn't, I'm not qualified. I got 40/59 for 67.80%, which would be 4th on the week and a nice score toward the contest for the year. Even if I answer one more and get it wrong, I'm at 66.67% and tied for 5th.Just would be nice if the system knew not to ask questions that would be considered invalid after being submitted. I spent a lot of time making my picks each day, and it just sucks having all of that work thrown out on a technicality that I wasn't warned of.

Looks like anyone that wants to finish in the money needs to have 67%+ week. I am a little disappointed that the scoring is more heavily titled towards having a really great week than being consistently good. If you can pull out one 67%+ week and two 60% weeks out of 16 (only 3 of 16), you probably finish in the money. The rest of the weeks could be horrible. But the user that averages 60% for 16 weeks may not be in the money if she doesn't have one big week. A bunch of really nice weeks above 60% doesn't get you in the money unless one is extremely good.For next year, it would be nice to shift the weighting or add a prize for those who are consistently good.

Also, the community rankings say that the rankings from more accurate community members are weighted more heavily. How is that done? Why not base the prize (or a prize) on the algorithm used to weight projections? After all, FBG is saying that is who should be trusted most.

In any event, it's a great contest and tool.

The nice thing about the contest is that you aren't punished for bad scores. I had a couple weeks under 40% that aren't holding me back.
