Any word/rumors about Brandon Lloyd? (1 Viewer)

Has anybody heard anything thing substantial ablour B.Lloyd? It seems like many of us took it for granted that he would hook up with Josh Mcdaniels in New England, but so far that hasn't happended. My best guess it that he wants a Pierre Garcon type deal and the Patriots don't want to pay that kind of money.

I also heard that he worked out for the 49ers, but nothing seemed to come of it.

Anybody have anything more solid on Lloyd? Where do you think he will land?

I can't imagine Lloyd demanding Pierre Garcon money.... hell, I can't even imagine Pierre Garcon demanding Pierre Garcon money.

Pats are still very interested and are still trying to negotiate a deal. It just hasn't happened yet. Lloyd certainly has the right to explore other options, but I still say the Pats are far and away the team most likely to sign him. The crazy money players have signed for this week probably has something to do with it.

Gotta believe he's making sure there's not a team out there that will offer him silly money (you know the Pats won't)...he wouldn't be doing himself any favors if he didn't make sure a Garconesque type of deal was a possibility...
