Blueprint Juice Diet (6 Viewers)

when I was googling around I read something about a pound of muscle, I think it was, burning 400 extra cal/day.

does that sound right, and what would a guy like otis have to do to gain 5 lbs of muscle?
Exercise / lift some weights and make sure the diet includes an adequate amount of protein. The DrJ Lazy Sloth Diet and Exercise Program © contains enough nutrients to accomplish this. But that defeats the lazy part. I have a very nice bench and set of weights in my basement - but that's just for decoration. When chicks come over you can act like you use them.
thx
Another alternative might be to get one of those things that just sends electrical impulses to your muscles. Otis could get a 6 pack while he's drinking a 6 pack.

I threw a mango, a pear, a big handful of grapes, half a cucumber, a kiwi, and a whole bunch of spinach in the blender, splitting it with the wife for dinner. A lot of sugar, but damn tasty. #aboutme
What's the consistency on that? Could someone chug it in say 3 seconds flat?
I threw in a little water, it was easily drinkable
Dinner? Surely you had more than this.

Here is an article on Livestrong.com.http://www.livestrong.com/article/62668-lose-pounds-ten-days/That's losing ten pounds in TEN days. Oat is saying he lost in less than five days. Not possible. He's lying to the FFA.
Sorry dude, but I just hit the 10 lb mark since Monday too. It's really not that big of a deal. Dump some water weight, crap out all the stuff you've been gorging on, lose a couple of pounds of fat.I've put on 10 pounds in two days, why can't I shed 10 pounds in four???

my personal bests are 14 lbs in one week and 8.5 lbs in one day.eta: all from a starting weight of 135.

Snowmageddon should be a great calorie burning opportunity.
My wife just told me she is calling in a "snow removal service." This is the first time we've had major snow since we've been in this town. She got the number from her friend. Apparently it's all the rage. I told her it is a waste and that I could do it and she sort of rolled her eyes and started dialing.

Gee. I can't understand why anyone is overweight if it's as simple as dumping water weight and taking a couple good craps.

There's a few people that look like Otis that die every year doing this.

There's only so much glycogen that can be stored in the body - and there's only so much water weight you can lose. After that's all gone, that's where you begin the hard work of losing fat. Did you read the article last night?

Yes. I read that one and a couple other ones. Listen. Otis says before he starts, "Hey, watch me lose 10 pounds in a week!" He ate healthy for 2 days, tried a juice cleanse for half a day, then ate a healthy dinner. No mention of a workout. The next morning, actually just 3+ days from his first weigh-in, he's down.......(wait for it)......9.8 pounds. I'm calling schtick.

At least my hijack had a ####### point. Are you trying to rally support for Otis by playing dumb?

Depending on how much snow there was. Sedentary, fat people die doing this all of the time. I built a 6'6" snowman, and along with my high protein diet I feel ripped today. Probably at least 3 oz of ripped muscle coming my way.

Holed up in the house during a snow storm will be a big test for our hero.

Okay, I'm questioning whether this is worth the effort to write all this down, but GB Otis, if you want fast results, you should try this 24-day program I did this past May. There's a bunch of supplements and tablets and stuff, but I think you could just go with a good daily vitamin and the results probably won't be that much different. The food is similar to what you are doing already (save eliminating alcohol), though you'll eat more on this plan. And it involves exercise - at least 30 minutes 5-6 days per week. I did two classes a week (a sort of modified cross-fit deal - but a simple visit to the gym works) and did 30 minutes on the treadmill on the other days. On this program, I went in for diagnostic testing at the beginning, and then at the end of the 24 days. The weight loss was decent - I'm 5'10" and went from 186 lbs to 169 lbs. What was amazing, however, is that I went from 24.3% body fat to 17.8% body fat. Doing the math, I lost 15.1 pounds of fat in three and a half weeks. In addition to the exercise, here is the diet (it's not rocket science, but it works):

Foods to Avoid

Alcohol

White foods (pasta, bagels, white bread, white rice)

Soy sauce

Sugar

Vinegar

Cheese & mushrooms (molds keep toxins alive)

Dairy products (contain lots of sugars and feed toxins)

Fatty/fried foods

Red meat

Fast/processed foods/crackers/bread/pasta

Foods to Eat (goal is to starve toxins)

Tons of fruit/veggies

Eggs

Chiken/fish/turkey

Yams (limited amounts)

Oatmeal (limited amounts)

Herbal non-caffeinated teas

TONS of water (10 or more glasses per day)

Nuts, seeds

Nut butters (almond is best, sesame, cashew)

Healthy fat (olive oil, avocados, cocnut oil)

DAYS 1-10

Breakfast - bowl or piece of fruit

Mid-morning - 3 hard-boiled eggs or scrambled

Lunch - mixed green salad with colorful veggies tooped with lean protein or side of protein

Mid-afternoon - nuts, seeds, raw veggies, fruit (i.e. 1/2 apple w/ almond butter, celery sticks w/ almond butter)

Dinner - protein with vegetables (veggies can be steamed, grilled, baked - don't overcook)

Snack (only if needed) - small bowl of berries or 1/2 piece of fruit

DAYS 11-24

Breakfast - meal replacement shake or choose one or two of 3 whole eggs or 1/2 serving of slow cook oats w/ nuts/fruit

Mid-morning - choose one or two of 3 eggs, veggies, 1/2 serving cottage chees w/ fruit/nuts, nuts or nut butter, 1/2 serving of Nut Thins w/ half can of tuna or salmon

Lunch - protein with salad (variety of veggies) or protein with side of veggies (add brown rice if needed for energy)

Mid-afternoon - choose one or two of 3 eggs, 1 fruit, veggies, nuts or nut butter, 1/2 serving of Nut Thins w/ half can of tuna or salmon

Dinner - protein with vegetables (veggies can be steamed, grilled, baked - don't overcook) (no starchy carbs after lunch)

Snack (only if needed) - one of 1/2 serving of cottage cheese with nuts, 2 eggs, veggies, nuts or nut butter

NOTES:

Be at least 90% "ON" for a minumum of 14 days

Keep carbs under 30 grams per meal/snack (minimizes fat storage)

Increase healthy fats as you decrease carbs (avocado, olives and olive oil, nuts and seeds)

Drink 3-4 liters (90-120 oz) of water daily

Exercise AT LEAST 30 minutes 5-6 days per week

Minimize or avoid alcohol, bread, dairy

Mods, let's get an alias check here. I'm 99% certain Otis, DrJ, and Deepster all have the same IP address. There is no way this is a coincindence that this thread turned into a perfect storm of 3 clueless posters.

That stuff isn't going to make you ripped.
True. I should probably go for cheeseburgers and chicken mcnuggets instead

Exactly. You may be all like "Spinach is such a rich source of protein, and I put in a 'whole bunch'" But fact of the matter is my bacon double cheeseburger from Culver's had way more - you'd have to eat pounds of spinach to compare. Combined with rolling and lifting giant snowballs, this is a much better recipe for lean mass.

If you don't know how to control it. Enough protein in few enough calories and your body will use the protein for building mass and the rest of the stuff for energy. It's not going to store fat that it needs to power itself. My grease didn't get used all that much differently than your pile of sugar. Using the whole Atkins theory, I'm actually in a better position to burn my fat deposits because my body is always in good position to use this stuff for energy.

While pretty restrictive, the above diet should help you lose weight quickly. Once you get to where you want to be, you can start watching calories. Oh, and start pumping iron. If nothing else, your woman will be glad you did.

Wow, that hurts, You live on some kind of compound or estate?

Neither, but we do have a pretty big and steep-hilled driveway, and a long flight of steps up to the front door. It would be a pain in the bawls to shovel I'm certain.
