aren't these T names popular in the south? like another way of saying "little james" or "lil james" except these people have made it in to an official name.Okay, a new one for me today. Tcalvin. Pronounced Tea-Calvin. WTF?
Nothing for short. He goes by Finnegan. Everyone calls him that. I full expect him coming back from college in a decade and say something like, "Call me Finn, dad. I'm no longer Finnegan." And I'll respond, "your friends may call you Finn, but after 18 years, you're always going to be Finnegan to me."So Gilligan for short.

For getting beat up on general principle?![]()
Better name than Steve or Kevin
A co-worker just had a baby and named her...Joan. Everyone thought she was named after a grandmother or favorite auntie, but my co-worker said that her and her husband wanted a one syllable first name because their last name has three syllables, and they simply liked the sound of Joan. When is this silly name thing going to get to the point where people start using traditional names again, just to be different.
"Ohhh, what a cute boy. What's his name?"
"Michael."
"Hmm.... I've never heard that... Very interesting."
You mean like Emma? I remember as a kid snickering at my grandmother's name of Emma. Now that Old Lady name is everywhere.Your point is interesting. Will we circle back to where we start seeing again names like: Margaret/Dorothy/Lorraine?
For getting beat up on general principle?
Jaxsyn, Kcaydyn and Montessori are definitely stepping up to defend Camden in this case![]()
Kids don't give a #### anymore that someone has a ####ed up or different name for thiose names make up like 50% of the names these days. So, a kid like Kevin or Steve may think he is cool cause his dad gave him a boring ### name, but he sure as hell isn't going to have any grounds for beating up a kid named Camden cause half his friends are gonna have similar names
That middle one sounds like a bullyJaxsyn, Kcaydyn and Montessori are definitely stepping up to defend Camden in this case
