Yeah, what ever happened to Smoo?I know he got heavy suspensions for relatively minor stuff, tried a few aliases and.......?I kind of wish Smoo were in this just for the spirited debate on the merits of Barbie Girl.
11.13b - The Sugarhill Gang - "Rapper's Delight" (1979)
Why the hell not. I guess my mix wouldn't be much of an anthology of hip-hop history without the original.
See, I'm Wonder Steve Tasker and I'd like to say hello,

The purple and yellow.

Smoo very occasionally checks in at LABS. I think he's kind of over the whole internet thing, but he seems happy when he's checked in. He had lunch with fatguy in December when he swung by DC.Yeah, what ever happened to Smoo?I know he got heavy suspensions for relatively minor stuff, tried a few aliases and.......?I kind of wish Smoo were in this just for the spirited debate on the merits of Barbie Girl.
Love The Kinks , love them. Waterloo Sunset is my favorite song by them. So goodA couple of my favorite songs of all time are still on the board. They're not your typical jukebox fare but I can't leave them out there any longer:
11.14 The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset (1967)
11.14 Radiohead - Let Down (1997)
Still happens today. My daughter heard me playing One way or Another by Blondie and wondered who was covering One Direction1983 - Always Something There to Remind Me - Naked Eyes
One of the songs that many in the 80s never realized was a cover.

When he can draft exlusively pre 1977, then he can draft with dignity. When post 77 comes into play he's running around the campus, nude, with a pigs head on his genitals.Eh. Tim can pick whatever he damn well pleases, but having been in past drafts with him, I wouldn't have expected him to take this approach.
Keep rolling with it, though.
I was bummed out to discover they weren't blackMy wife was bummed out for a week when I told her that her favorite Indigo Girls song was a cover.
I'm going to make mine and ask for forgiveness later if I misread what eephus laid down.

The Steely Dan catalog has some weird omissions in Spotify. The album openers from Countdown to Ectasy, Katy Lied and Royal Scam are missing as is one other track from Katy Lied.Love this groove. Royal Scam is my fav of all the Dan albums.
11.29 Steely Dan - Sign In Stranger 1976
Is it any wonder?
11.29 Def Leppard - Coming Under Fire 1983
Every Time I die, moe., Brian McKnight. It's a veritable who's who of the music world.Snapcase should be Buffalos band. Much better than goo goo dolls imo
I don't know about the other ex-members of the band, but Johnny went to McKinley, which is like a block from where I live, and Robby is from West Seneca (suburb). My wife has always tried to claim the Goo Goo Dolls for Rochester. Claims they went to her ex-fiancée's high school.
I've had to scour harder on the more recent stuff to get what I feel fits my bar's jukebox. There's a ton of newer music I like, but that doesn't fit my drinkin'-&-singin' along motif (as I hear it in my mind). I had forgotten about this GA song until I heard another of theirs on sat radio the other night and the light bulb went off. Then I couldn't remember the name of the damned thing so I probably spent more time looking for "The '59 Sound" than I have all of the others combined.I'm going to make mine and ask for forgiveness later if I misread what eephus laid down.

Love The '59 Sound. That was my back up plan for 08
Good one - I was eyeballing a few of the deeper tracks from Pyromania rather than the played out three tunes, and this was one of them.11.29 Def Leppard - Coming Under Fire 1983
I looked more closely at her business card when she left and it has Proverbs 22:1 printed on it.So, I was just interviewing a company to do house cleaning (Merry Maids is getting the boot - too much turnover) and I had our jukebox playing. When she got here, it played a couple of oldies in a row. Then that Morphine song came on and scared the hell out of both of us.

I always loved that verseah yes, a key hit on our HS soundtrack.I know there are Joshua Tree disciples and there are Achtung Baby ones. I kinda like the 2nd better one better, but can't we all just get along.
Is this the first U2 song taken?
10b. 13 - U2 - Even Better Than the Real Thing - 1991
Im not quite clear on your position. Could you please clarify those vague statements?I HATE U2 fan. I saw them with AF up in Canada on that stoopid claw tour a few years back. The tool bag fans of theirs were worse then Yankee fan. They talk non stop crap, and just want to fight. They are soo far up the arrogant Sunglasses ####, that they are blind. Needless to say I will never support that band again.
Joshua Tree here - that was the first tape I ever bought with my hard earned allowance of $1/week. Apparently, neither of my parents thought to adjust for inflation when it came to allowance. I remember paying at the display case counter in the gun/sporting goods section of Longs Drugs. I still find it pretty cool that the local drug store carried Uzis.I know there are Joshua Tree disciples and there are Achtung Baby ones. I kinda like the 2nd better one better, but can't we all just get along.

They were actually mostly from the USA on a road trip. It seemed that way to me anyway. Lotta guys yelling play Freebird and what not. Tom Greens was no where to be seens.Canadian U2 fans not to be trifled with
Don't foget the arrogant lead singer and his ####in sunglasses...so I'm clear on this... bad fans turn you off the band?
They dont help. I thought U2 was meh, and Boner was.the most arrogant bastage I have ever seen. It was the whole package really.so I'm clear on this... bad fans turn you off the band?

well yeah, that's well known. If there's one thing I insist upon in my stadium headlining rock stars, it's humility.Don't foget the arrogant lead singer and his ####in sunglasses...so I'm clear on this... bad fans turn you off the band?
I saw U2 in St. Petersburg, Florida in the 90s, and they were great. I had tickets for a show in Raleigh in the 2000's, but the show got canceled due to their stage being torn up by a storm at another venue. Something like that. Anyway, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary about the fans.I HATE U2 fan. I saw them with AF up in Canada on that stoopid claw tour a few years back. que?Fight like high school nerds like to fight. No fisticuffs witnessed. I did hear about the geek guy who was organizing the line, put his hands on a girl in the pit, when she wouldn't move from his spot. That seemed to be a big controversy and she actually got kicked out.
