What is Mark Andrews worth in 2 PPR TE scoring leagues? It's a dynasty's best ball league, and you can start up to four TEs. For context, Andrews would've been the WR12 last year in scoring.

Criminally underrated. In that scoring system probably worth a 26 mid 1st or more. Dude has 3-4 more years of te1 production regardless of where he is next season.

If I'm contending, he's untouchable. If I'm rebuilding, it's gonna take multiple picks and an upper tier QB in return.

I acquired Allen in an FFPC SF league a few months ago. I gave up Justin Herbert, Brandon Aiyuk, and the 1.10. We're both contending teams.

I give: Herbert+Nico+Stevenson+2027 7th
I get: Jefferson+Strange+Geno Smith

Not sure why I’m the one giving up any picks in this offer, but yeah. lol. I’m not a big Geno Smith guy, and I’m a huge Herbert & Nico guy. I see the drop from Herbert to Geno as substantially greater than the bump from Nico to JJ.

My WRs are Nico, Lamb, AJB, Addison, Diggs, Palmer, couple scrubs.

Am I undervaluing JJ? Felt like a big overpay for me to give up my QB1 (my QB2 is JJM) and drop from Herbert to Geno (who, again, I am not a big fan of)

This is essentially Nico/Herbert for JJ. The rest is just noise.

I think it's a totally fair offer, but it's tough to give up two top 10ish players at two different positions so I definitely understand your hesitation. It's the kind of trade you only make if you have a top team that is really deep and you're mainly looking to upgrade your starters. I think your WRs meet that, but I don't know what your QBs are.

I think the trap people get caught in sometimes is just looking at the scoring difference between a guy like Nico and a guy like JJ. But I think the bigger difference is that JJ is as close to a lock to continue putting up elite numbers as you can find, whereas Nico is the kind of guy that could end up being a flash in the pan like so many before him that have had a couple of good seasons and then fallen off badly. That last part is something I think people overlook often in FF, the chance that a "pretty good" player can become totally irrelevant, real fast.

That's what I think makes it fair, but I would totally get sticking with Herbert/Nico as it's a lot to give up.

EDIT: I just noticed it's 16 teams and I would assume that massively increases the value of QBs, so with that in mind I think it would be an overpay (my response was assuming a 12 team league). In 16 team SF a guy like Herbert probably has insane value near JJ's by himself.

I know that had to hurt!! But it was not an unreasonable offer.
IMO, Geno is a stop gap 2 year QB while Herbert is dynasty asset. Nico is not a far drop from JJ. The 16 team aspect makes it that much more significant for QB drop.
Is there a different QB option than Geno?

I need some options, value wise, of an NFL vet I can get for 1 or 2 second round picks that I can plug and play in my flex all year. Maybe this can help others target some players who can help fill out their rosters. I'm defending champ and looking for some reliable depth and flex plays that can be had for a value of 1 or 2 seconds. I can mix and match offers accordingly throwing in players/picks but here are some value players I'm looking to acquire that won't break the bank. KTC current rankings are listed. These are guys I feel I could probably make a play for:

Jacoby Meyers (mid second?) KTC WR52 - 129 targets last year. Finished as a low end WR2 last 2 years. Better QB and better offense this year. Lots of upside as the teams WR1 with only Bowers as significant competition.
Jerry Jeudy (~2 seconds?) KTC WR38- 145 targets last year. Finished as a high end WR2. Still only 26 and could be trending upwards. Should be the clear #1 WR on a team needing playmaker. QB situation is very questionable.
Tyreek Hill (~2 seconds) KTC WR39 - 123 targets. Finished as a low end WR2. Injury plagued season with some questionable character issues starting to mix in. Previously had 4 top 5 WR finishes in a row. Upside is insane if he bounces back and could be a league winner if he plays the whole season. Also could be AB 2.0 by mid-season and out of the league.
DJ Moore (~2 seconds) KTC WR31 - 140 targets. Finished as a high end WR1. Consistently good player year in and year out. CHI added yet another talented pass catcher in Burden and a TE who will also look for targets in this newly revamped offense. Offense should be much improved but target competition could tough. DJM was unhappy last year and there were trade discussions at one point.
D'Andre Swift (1-2 seconds?) - KTC RB28. 300 total touches last year. Consistent low end RB2 each year. Chance to be a part of a very good revamped offense. Could greatly outperform draft capital/ADP. Issue - the HC was part of the last regime that kicked him out. Positive - Swift is familiar with the offense. Likely can plug and play and not miss a beat to start the season. Issue- could be replaced by mid-season once another RB gets up to speed or they sign a FA like Chubb or Dobbins. Massive value potential if he ends up playing all year with CHI and getting 250+ touches again. Can produce in the passing game.
Courtland Sutton (1 second?) - KTC WR47. 135 targets last year and finished as WR13. Still the lead WR on this team. Showed good chemistry with Nix last year. Not a fancy option but the more I think about it.


Some other guys that are values are listed below but they are on contending teams in my league. I'll make some pitches for these guys but will be tough to acquire right now. I'd like acquire someone now as their value is lower than when they are in season scoring points.

Mike Evans, Aiyuk, Godwin, Aaron Jones, Metcalf, Adams, Deebo, Etienne (RB36? what are we doing here? Previous year RB3 overall. Bounce back or cooked?).

Who looks to be of good value in 2025 - who are you targeting? Who am I missing?

First thing I noticed…how is Sutton not worth 2 and round picks after last year if you judge players like Jeudy and old man Hill as being worth 2 2nds? Sutton is sneaky underrated, as is Meyers imo.


I think Meyers is probably the best “value” in terms of return on (likely) investment. With Sutton close behind, or maybe ahead, if his cost is anything close to the KTC ranking indicates.

I spent most of last year trying to deal Sutton for a 2nd round pick while he was on fire and no one had any interest for the longest time. The guy who ended up winning the league told me to stop offering him old players who are nearly worthless for his picks. Finally I found a taker from 1 of the top 3 teams and that is exactly the pick I got pick 22 from the 3rd place finisher.

This. I was the 1-seed last year and top scoring team.

MY QBs would go from Herbert/JJM to JJM/Geno, which would be… less than ideal.

Not sure Herbert would command JJ alone but it’s close. I’m trying to figure out a counter like Nico+RS for JJ.

But I suspect they’re trying to get out from Geno & upgrade using JJ to do it, and Geno just doesn’t move the needle for me. I’m less hung up on the Nico/JJ part than I am not wanting to roll out with those 2 in SF. JJM is already risky.

I don't know but relative to TE's he seems like he'd be worth less in a 2 TE PPR because I don't see him catching a lot of passes. More of a TD reliant guy next season and then will depend where he's likely playing next.

I don’t necessarily see your situation as a binary. Is there a path to a tier-down from Allen, while acquiring a 2nd start-able RB & a legit WR2-type (DSmith, Addison, etc)?

I don’t see this roster as a tear-down & rebuild, dealing Allen for a pick haul. Certainly an option, but maybe put Allen OTB looking for QB+WR+RB and see what kinds of bites you get.

Spot on advice. If you can get a haul (players + picks combo) for Allen then go for it. This team isn't in full rebuild territory, but you definitely need to up your WR and RB corps to make a strong push.

I don't think you have enough to make a run. You are very strong at QB and thats about it. You don't have good RB depth nor flex depth. I would look to rebuild this lineup. Allen would be one of if not the number one asset in superflex so you should get a haul for him.
