I acquired Allen in an FFPC SF league a few months ago. I gave up Justin Herbert, Brandon Aiyuk, and the 1.10. We're both contending teams.

I give: Herbert+Nico+Stevenson+2027 7th
I get: Jefferson+Strange+Geno Smith
Not sure why I’m the one giving up any picks in this offer, but yeah. lol. I’m not a big Geno Smith guy, and I’m a huge Herbert & Nico guy. I see the drop from Herbert to Geno as substantially greater than the bump from Nico to JJ.
My WRs are Nico, Lamb, AJB, Addison, Diggs, Palmer, couple scrubs.
Am I undervaluing JJ? Felt like a big overpay for me to give up my QB1 (my QB2 is JJM) and drop from Herbert to Geno (who, again, I am not a big fan of)

This is essentially Nico/Herbert for JJ. The rest is just noise.
I think it's a totally fair offer, but it's tough to give up two top 10ish players at two different positions so I definitely understand your hesitation. It's the kind of trade you only make if you have a top team that is really deep and you're mainly looking to upgrade your starters. I think your WRs meet that, but I don't know what your QBs are.
I think the trap people get caught in sometimes is just looking at the scoring difference between a guy like Nico and a guy like JJ. But I think the bigger difference is that JJ is as close to a lock to continue putting up elite numbers as you can find, whereas Nico is the kind of guy that could end up being a flash in the pan like so many before him that have had a couple of good seasons and then fallen off badly. That last part is something I think people overlook often in FF, the chance that a "pretty good" player can become totally irrelevant, real fast.
That's what I think makes it fair, but I would totally get sticking with Herbert/Nico as it's a lot to give up.
EDIT: I just noticed it's 16 teams and I would assume that massively increases the value of QBs, so with that in mind I think it would be an overpay (my response was assuming a 12 team league). In 16 team SF a guy like Herbert probably has insane value near JJ's by himself.

I know that had to hurt!! But it was not an unreasonable offer.
IMO, Geno is a stop gap 2 year QB while Herbert is dynasty asset. Nico is not a far drop from JJ. The 16 team aspect makes it that much more significant for QB drop.
Is there a different QB option than Geno?

I spent most of last year trying to deal Sutton for a 2nd round pick while he was on fire and no one had any interest for the longest time. The guy who ended up winning the league told me to stop offering him old players who are nearly worthless for his picks. Finally I found a taker from 1 of the top 3 teams and that is exactly the pick I got pick 22 from the 3rd place finisher.
Some people like to try and win and will sell picks to try and do it and others hold on to their picks even if it passes up a chance to win,

This. I was the 1-seed last year and top scoring team.
MY QBs would go from Herbert/JJM to JJM/Geno, which would be… less than ideal.
Not sure Herbert would command JJ alone but it’s close. I’m trying to figure out a counter like Nico+RS for JJ.
But I suspect they’re trying to get out from Geno & upgrade using JJ to do it, and Geno just doesn’t move the needle for me. I’m less hung up on the Nico/JJ part than I am not wanting to roll out with those 2 in SF. JJM is already risky.

I don't know but relative to TE's he seems like he'd be worth less in a 2 TE PPR because I don't see him catching a lot of passes. More of a TD reliant guy next season and then will depend where he's likely playing next.

3flex - Michael Pittman - Chris Olave- Najee Harris.
I'm not sure if I have enough to make a run I do have the 1.3 and 1.4 so I would probably go RB with those picks. What you guys think. Should I cash out now and build or try to make a run.

Man, you’re so close to making a run, but with Pittman and BRob as starters, that’s a couple of potentially meh starts a week.
I don’t necessarily see your situation as a binary. Is there a path to a tier-down from Allen, while acquiring a 2nd start-able RB & a legit WR2-type (DSmith, Addison, etc)?
I don’t see this roster as a tear-down & rebuild, dealing Allen for a pick haul. Certainly an option, but maybe put Allen OTB looking for QB+WR+RB and see what kinds of bites you get.

Spot on advice. If you can get a haul (players + picks combo) for Allen then go for it. This team isn't in full rebuild territory, but you definitely need to up your WR and RB corps to make a strong push.

I don't think you have enough to make a run. You are very strong at QB and thats about it. You don't have good RB depth nor flex depth. I would look to rebuild this lineup. Allen would be one of if not the number one asset in superflex so you should get a haul for him.

Really I can see this going either way if some of my young guys develop maybe I can make a small run if not I'm stuck in the crappy position of not bad enough to get a top draft pick but just good enough to get bounced early, I've been messing with this team for a few years to get over the hump and just can't seem to get there. With the 1.3 and 1.4 thinking of going some combo of Henderson ,Judkins , Tet, or T Hunter.
Would asking for Jefferson and 1.7 be asking to much you think?

See if they counter. It’s not *that* much in your favor, and there’s only 1 Josh Allen. I wouldn’t take much less than that for Allen in your situation.

I like putting Maye and the 2026 1st in there but wouldn’t want to add to aging pieces in Godwin and walker unless I knew I could flip them.
Well my thought was to ask for Waddle instead of Godwin Gibbs is off the table so Walker would be next best RB.

4 quarters for a dollar trade. Maye has 3/4 of a season of track record. The 26 1st is unlikely to be early in the draft. Goodwin is older, and Walker is oft-injured. Not that I don't like each individual piece, but unless you're in a full blown rebuild, this isn't enough.

Post the roster of the Drake Maye owner. Im open starting a deal around him and the 2026 1st but Godwin and Walker aren't the extra pieces I would want. They are win now players and if that's your goal, keep Josh Allen.

I think it makes sense based on your roster. I like Mason more than most and Tuten less than most however.

Why do you dislike Tuten more than most? The two other guys aren't Coen guys and Tuten is. He's explosive and that is what Coen wants. I don't think that pecking order is hard to overcome.

I agree with the situation being optimal and I like his speed and explosive ability. He is a guy who if he can put it all together has some good upside for sure. My amateur eye while watching highlights did not think he had very good vision and he has had notable ball security issues. Him along with Harvey I am willing to be wrong on. Regarding the trade, I see an opportunity to secure the MIN backfield which is a plus. With Jones getting up there in age there could be some nice weeks for Mason if Aaron gets dinged. I also think Mason will get more work than most think (along with GL work).

Initial reports were Coen wanted DJ Harvey and the GM talked him out of it at the time ... So Tuten is not really Coen's guy but his backup option.

Gladstone was said to "have a plan, the RB pool is deep, and we can wait" and still get value. (me paraphrasing from a weak memory).
Coen agreed to take Tuten by his boss GM Gladstone, not the other way around.
I like Tuten. I took him 2.09 rookie draft in May. I just think that J Mason has an easier path to FF value.
And with Coen talking up 26 yo ETN, Tuten will likely only be a COP RB unless ETN moves on as a FA after this year. Tank will still be around 2026

Is he worth a late pick in a startup or is he Trey Sermon? No contract for Kyren yet. Just can't see the Rams giving him the money he wants, which is a positive for Corum, but now Hunter is there too.
Looking at stats, his YPC was bad at 3.6 but hard to tell based on that from limited carries. Personally didn't see him play last year, so any imput is appreciated.

Jaguars were discussing Ashton Gillotte or Harvey in round 3 and would guess it would have been Gillotte since that's who Gladstone and Bosselli wanted and part of that was positional scarcity vs RB. They of course got neither as the Chiefs took Gillotte at start of round 3.
Cohen mentioned pivoting Tuten and Gladstone told him he could get him later.
They got a few trade back offers to move back in round 3 and eventually took the Lions offer so the Lions could move up for Tessla.
Caleb Ransaw and Wyatt Milum are the two players they wanted in round 3. At one point the Steelers offered to move back(that's a Kaleb Johnson message- as the Steelers were ready to lose him) but the Jags said it was to much. They eventually made an OTC trade with the Texans and took Ransaw and Milum b2b.
They eventually took Tuten in round 4.
My summary is yes it's nice they liked Tuten and the current regime picked him but he's still a 4th round RB they were not exactly showing a ton of urgency to draft.

I agree with the statement that Hunter looks like the guy to own in that backfield (as a long-term cuff) but... Blake Corum is definitely being written off prematurely tho.
It's funny to watch players fizzle after a year, when the community was so high on them after the NFL draft. Drafted RB2 or RB3 in every rookie draft I was a part of last year. Testament to how bad that draft was for RBs - Bucky Irving and Tyrone Tracy are the only guys with any meaningful contribution last year. Also, clearly we measure rookies differently than we did in years past.
Corum didn't perform in his rookie year. F*** him! He's a bust. Draft Jarquez Hunter.
