FBG Contest Team Status Updates Page (1 Viewer)

Cracked the top 30 with my highest ranking this season I think in the late 50's (once) and one other top 100 (late) ranking.

i don't think those are the official numbers yet. i show adrian peterson (chi) with 15.7, not 11.7. adrian peterson (min) is also missing 0.5, i think.
No, they should be up to date. Please let me know if something is amiss, but I think both Adrians' scores are correct. RBs only get half a PPR.
thanks. totally forgot it was 0.5/rec for rbs.

So up to date with Monday night’s game. I thought I was nervous playing for a $600 prize. I will not be able to sleep knowing I could win 20K

Can't believe I'm still in the top 10. I'm thinking the LT owners will be tough to catch with the Denver matchup this week. But I'm hoping that Fred Taylor goes off against the Raiders and Jamal Lewis does the same against the Bengals. And maybe, JUST MAYBE, FWP can finally find the endzone a couple of times against the Rams.

gl to everyone today. im gonna need some help to win it all. 54pts back is a lot to make up in 1 week. :hophead:

my main 4 players are

manning- good day

lewis- good day

taylor- good day

lt

i hope i can finish top 5, in 3rd going into this week

Started out in the 60's after last week... Looking good so far!

Right now I've got ~162 with Elam (-9), Graham (-5.7) and Minny (-11) still to go. Any others near the top 10 coming into the week around to post their scores?

I am #2

as long as the updates are correct.

as long as V. jackson does not get 15 FF PTs tonight and/or SD DEF does not get 38 FF PTs I will stay #2. from what I can see.

You're the best Dougie. I don't care what Joe B and the others say about you!
Note again that it says 'if' up there. I'm not sure if it'll be tonight or tomorrow morning.
See, you love us...FWIW, I SOARED up the rankings to crack the top 15 after my amazing week!

Too bad Rudi Johnson was hurt. It'd have been nice to climb even higher with the great stats Kenny Watson put up.

And I still got Brandon Marshall and Travis Henry going tonight.

GO BRONCOS!

:yeahright:

Seriously though, I think nobody in the top 20 or 25 even has Travis Henry but my team. It sure would be if Santa gave me a little gift and Travis found his running game tonight...

A huge game from Daniel Graham could possibly move me up that far. Not counting on it. Currently in 5th but fearing a big game by LT could knock be back down a few.

@$*@$#*@%#%# AD, McGahee, and Bush!!!!! Finally get a decent week, and my trio of RB's cant even bust off 7 points combined. Oh well, 2 years in a row in the finals is still a decent accomplishment, even if it wasn't 2 years in the cash. Thanks FBG for another great contest, and I look forward to next year's version.

Anyone know what the general foemat of the playoff contest will be this year?

Looks like LT got enough points to knock me out of the 5 spot and Daniel Graham has been nowhere to be found. I don't think he's even playing anymore. Oh well, looks like I'll still win a few bucks.

Lol. My wife talked me in to trying the contest this year. I didn't crack the big money, but as long as LT isn't owned by 30 folks below me, I think I'll hang in the top 150. Was 129 going into MNF.

Many thanks FBG's. It's been fun to play all year. Next year though, I'm not picking Joe Horn!

Edit: Also, huge thanks to the guys crunching the stats for this all year long on the message board. It's great getting some instant gratification.

I think we will be keeping this same format going forward. I like how the rules tweaks from last year to this year diversified how people assembled teams.

how many players participated?

I went back to week 2 and it showed 11,792 participants. 49th out of almost 12,000. Whoo, I think I'm an elitist! :-)

To all the Football Guys it was once again a great contest to play all year. The best part it is free with your subscription. As a member with a lifetime subscription I just hope I live many years to enjoy this great site.

Last year I made the finals but faded dismally. This year 29th is something that I can be proud of.

Jim Swanson did indeed pick a great team and deserves the $20K and liftime subscription. Great job Jim.

To Dodd's and the rest of the staff thanks for making my football season all it can be.

Jim McVicar

I certainly hope so! It does look like it has the MNF scores loaded, but I think the question is when Joe/David/Doug want to call the scoring complete. Of course, with this morning's festivities, that may take a while, which is just fine by me. If it is I barely held on to cash for the second year in a row! Nothing huge either year, 36th or so last year and 143 this year. At least it pays for the FBG subscription!Joe/David, looking forward to the confirmation of eligibility, I somehow missed last year's until the second notice, which I apparently got too late and never received my prize. I can assure you I am eligible, and I don't want to miss 2 years in a row!

Great Job FBG, this is a lot of fun and I am already looking forward to next year!

Congrats to the guys on the top of the heap. Drafting a team with no in-sesason adjustments was never my strong suit but I've great respect for those able to pull it off. :) Y'all are the guys that refuse to trade with me year after year, league after league, ain't ya? :)Very Nice. :golfersclap:
