Pip’s Invitation:
Rolling In The Deep - Adele
(duplicate – second vote)
Nice. Was the first to take the grammy for song, record and video since something Michael Jackson did in the 80s. Also, shoutout to Neil Cowley, her pianoman/keyboardist back then, who's put out some stunningly great jazz over the past 20 years. This was the 2nd concert I took little chaosburgers to. She was 7 years into piano lessons and burning out, but could not take her eyes off of Neil.

Linger - The Cranberries
(new song)
I was so torn between this and Zombie that I just punted the Cranberries. I regret that a little. When I first heard Delores growl out Zahhmmbeee Zahhmmbee...dat's about the most memorable moment of the 90s, but Linger may be the better song start to finish for me. What a voice and hers is the saddest of sad stories.
timschochet:
Never Never - The Assembly
(new artist)
I think tim is 9 for 9 on new to me songs. I haven't got around to the last 2 yet but he's definitely 7 for 7 and I like them all so far.
Haha. Emojis made me laugh. I've told my Ramble On story before. We (college roomies) were talking about the backmasking demonic message baloney and played this straight, loud, 3am, vinly, killer sound system... and the turntable died mid song. Freaked us out. Great song. Welcome aboard, Zep.
Manster:
6 Underground - Sneaker Pimps
(new artist)
SNEAKER PIMPS! I yelled that when I saw it. I had Manster all wrong. Thought he was a metal head hard rocker exclusively. Big hat tip here. They were on my list (this song too) as it evolved from too much prog to too much trip hop around Christmas. It's been a favorite on my trip hop playlist for a long time. If I ever hike that local's trail above Tahoe you shared with me, this will be the playlist.
Mrs. Rannous:
Close My Eyes Forever - Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne
(new song for both artists)
Beautiful and forgotten by me. I think I love this playlist the most so far. Can't wait to catch up. Still need to listen through yesterday's.
Eephus:
The James Bond Theme (From Dr. No) - John Barry
(new artist)
Yup, AAA. Ephin Eeph does it again. Brilliant pull. Guess where it's going? Straight to the trip hop playlist.
AAABatteries:
Enjoy The Silence - Depeche Mode
(new song)
It was the top DM on my list. Really cannot wait to find time for this playlist.
Oliver Humanzee:
Just Like Honey – The Jesus and Mary Chain
(new song)
I said, whaaaaa tf??? OH gone chalk with JaMC? Did not see that coming. Man, I love this band. When I tried to guess simey's JaMC, this was sort of my 2nd guess. And, ftr, I got it on my 3rd try. That's not very impressive.
