My order from the Google Store came today. Took about 5 mins to set-up, other than it not seeming to like the power from the USB port on my TV there were no issues. Netflix and YouTube look terrific, tab casting obviously not as crisp but not bad either. It would be nice to have the tabcasting available from my iPad but imagine that will happen soon. It's a nifty little piece of tech.

I think the purpose for it would be if your hdmi connection is in the back of your TV and it's close to the wall. This way you could hang the device down instead of straight out. If I use it on my office TV, that will come in handy.

Of course. Moving an antenna away from EMI can definitely help. My comment was more on the reason it could help. I don't want others to read into Google's sentence that there's an antenna extender in the cable or some other similar assumption.

So saw on BestBuy's website that there were some in at the local store for pickup only (couldn't even order online). Local store didn't have any (said it was an inventory mistake, my guess is they only got one in and an employee purchased it), but they said another BestBuy not too far away had a dozen of them. Went there, they had 4 left, got 2 (limit 2 per purchase), the other 2 sold between the time I walked the 2 I got to the car and walked back in to see if they were still there. Figured I'd put the extra's on eBay and pay for the one I wanted. They did come with the free Netflix code.

So long story short, I have 2 now, and Best Buy is slowly moving inventory around or shipping them out from their factory, not sure. But all the Best Buy ones still have the Netflix promotion, according to the guys there. So if you are looking for one, keep an eye on the Best Buy page that shows local inventory, I even saw it pop up for sale online last Sunday but by the time I put it in my cart it sold out again.

So, anyone know if you can apply 2 Netflix codes to a single account (guessing no)?

I could not figure out how to stream from chrome on the ipad though... is this possible? Checked to make sure I didn't have any needed chrome updates, so that's not the issue.

We're trying out taking ours on vacation. Will report in on how successful we are getting it to work on a hotel TV. I'm skeptical about getting it to work through wifi, but if I have a decent LTE connection I should at least be able to work it through my mobile hotspot.

Tried this for the Georgia/South Carolina game. Quality seems pretty poor.
