No need to politicize this. Not a Christie backer but actually found it refreshing. He, as governor, gave a command for public safety which many ignored. Perhaps he didn't have to do the whole "I told you so" routine, but I can't blame him.

Because of the idiots that stayed and the idiot mayor that told them to stay, rescue personnel are going to have to risk their lives tomorrow to try to save them. I keep waiting to see one of these reporters just fly away into the ocean and they cut away to the anchor with a blank look on his face and they cut back showing the guy being pulled out to sea.

Well they have the best meteorologists telling them what to do. I think most of them were "hunkering down" at the same spot along the shore. I know CNN said they were going to pull their reporter and reposition the truck as the eye passed so I think they know what their doing.
