While I'm a subscriber and rarely post because of a busy life, I thought I read something about posting being down in the Shark Pool and why? Twitter for news etc.

I honeslty think its because you can't post anything without someone having some kind of sarcastic comment or attacking the spelling etc.

Just an example:

Starks vs. Green thread, obviously I'd say a ton of Benson owners are trying to decide between the two.

One poster posted:

"I'm a Benson owner who is a bit thin at the RB position so I think I'll make a run at Green this week just in case he does become the starter even if he does come off the field on third downs."

(I see nothing wrong with him saying he's a Benson owner and saying who he plans on picking up, In the Starks vs Green thread)

It's the sarcastic comments like this

"Keep us posted!" :blackdot:

(That I feel are pointless, It's always happened, I'm just seeing more of it lately as more and more people play fantasy football. The balance between what's a WDIS question and not has always been out-lined. While this answer in a thread about Starks and Green is fine, the comments are a waste to a thread and un-needed.

Just my thoughts.

#EricWinston minor rant over haha.

This thread is so unproductive. Toughen up and post wisely, this is not a forum for pansies.

This is football, toughen up!

I wish they would have a separate forum for straight NFL talk with no FF slant or at least nothing about anyone's personal FF team. Keep the FF talk in one place, the NFL talk in another. The melting of the two really causes the glasses to fog up a bit. I sometimes can't tell what I'm reading or why two people are bickering back and forth.

Sunday in the Miami-Cinci thread I was doing the play by play and trying to offer some insight beyond the box score. Example would be "Reggie Bush met behind the LOS, managed to shake off two defenders and gain 2 yards"...to me that is a little more insightful than Bush up the middle for 2 yards on the CBS play by play. We started to get folks creeping in who wanted to ##### about their FF team and saying things about Reggie Bush and how they should have traded him when they got the chance...and it really detracts and takes away from the focus. There is a thread for complaining and it shouldn't be in the game threads. I wish we could get 1 person in every game thread to offer as much on the spot insight into what is happening. Would make the game threads a lot better IMO.

To the OP, I understand why you are posting this but as you can see you have a few folks already making jokes...it is just football at the end of the day.

You subscribe to my posts? I've been harping on this for years with Joe. You can plagiarize my idea, though, I'm cool with it. Just remember the little guys when you finally get that much-coveted staff gig.

Shake it all out, and this site is based on "How do I manage my Fantasy team"

I agree with the OP on the sarcastic nonsense from so many. Either contribute or move on from the thread...........
