My selection...

Have about five artists on my list to choose from.... One of them was YES, but I'm glad someone else took them and more than likely will produce a better list than I could have.


The great thing about these MAD threads is all the new music we are exposed to, because most of us are musically challenged and lead shallow lives.


One of my favorite new songs from all the MAD lists has been "Sometime Around MIdnight," by THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT. Just love everything about this song from start to finish.


And I'll be seeing them live at The Knitting Factory in Boise, on October 10. So that is my selection this round. Haven't listened to a whole lot of their work, but have enjoyed what I've heard so far.

Haha. Yes if I had to pick just one it’d be tough between Hamilton and Matt Barrick.

I almost chose Hamilton Leithauser as the artist but then I was able to quickly find 31 all inclusive of the Walkman, so sticking to that.

It’ll be interesting to see how you do this. Goodness knows, they have enough good songs for at least two lists. I don’t envy you whittling this one down (not a euphemism).
