Marlon Mack, RB, DEN (1 Viewer)

Very short bench league, best ball. Do I drop Alex Collins for him? Mack's ceiling is obviously way higher, but is his floor higher as well? I'm thinking yes. I would rank Mack higher not only this week but for ROS. Just making sure I'm not in the minority here...right? I'd put him around RB15, maybe a little higher depending on injuries to others, hold out situations, etc.

You literally called him a JAG...
Yep and I stand by that. You didn't read what I wrote because I hurt your feelings huh? Sorry man I'm wrong sometimes so maybe he is better than I think. I don't think he's special. I think he's in a great situation and significantly better than the other RBs on the roster. So I advised betting on this situation. You don't have to be good at RB to produce good numbers in FF.

Finding the gray cloud in a 19/126/1 & 2/33/1 performance.  Sometimes opportunity and usage trumps stride control and contact balance.
Somebody else said it so I can't take the credit, but there's a good chance we just saw the best game Mack will have in his career.

Man I wish I can play him this week. He's gonna go off. Too many good options (I have 2 RB1 and 3 WR1 ahead of him). I guess that's not a bad thing. Enjoy fellas

Tell me about it, shadyridr, and tell us your 5 players ahead of him. I think it's healthy to share players that we deem above or below a certain player. It gives us all a gauge. I understand some don't have the luxury to decide because of draft, injuries, bye weeks, trades, etc. It's not who do I start, it's here's where I value this player based upon all the information I can including health and match-ups, etc. I'm in a similar quandary with lots of good choices and so far as of today, and this may very well change I too have start two RB's and two WR's with a Flex from (Mack, K Johnson, Chubb, Ingram) and (Hilton, Thomas, Cooks, Edelman). As of today Chubb, Ingram, and Edelman sit. But it is soooo close for all these RB's. So, there's my gauge this week. I mean Mack went from FA pickup to starting last week, producing like a rock star and may see the field over Chubb, Ingram, and Edelman this week. Holy Cow / Holy Wah for the UP'ers in Michigan.

EDIT: Unless of course Mack is a sell high candidate right now?

Probably  a bit different  for me  as I play in a  super flex so have Jameis in, but I have David Johnson and Lindsay in over Mack at this time. Other options are Chubb and Ingram.

Assuming he's healthy, I'm starting Mack over N, Chubb, J. Howard, A. Collins, and A. Jones.

If there's word Mack isn't healthy Chubb goes in.

Actually think J. Howard has a good game with positive game script against NYJ at home.

Again, assuming health, the matchup is there, the touches are there, the game script should be there. A lot to like.

So watch him fall flat on his face or leave the game early after aggravating his ankle. Usually what happens in these cases where it would appear "the stars are perfectly aligned."

Sitting Mack (and Chubb) behind Kamara and Connor at RB and Tyler Boyd at flex in PPR league.

Mack's injury has me believing that if the game is a blowout, which may happen,  there's little incentive in coaches trotting him out there.

Didn't risk it and plugged in Drake. Even if Mack outscores Drake, I'm happy with my decision.

Now I just hope he doesn't hurt it more.

I had drake in and switched him out after completing trade for Ingram.  Figured if Mack doesn’t go i could plug in ingram. Drake is so unreliable.  Obviously the wrong call most likely.

Rappaport saying Mack has a "shot" to play.

You kidding me?

Not playing til 4 either. All kinds of options (Chubb, Howard, Collins) but all playing at 1.

Jeeesh.

Yeah Collins or Baldwin at Flex But have to lick in the next hour and then watch Mack go off of I don’t risk it.

Lol hurt my feelings? I just think you are wrong and he has proved you wrong 2 weeks in a row

I believe he is a good rb you said he was just a guy.
So Milkman pimps this guy out as in a good situation but not some great RB or anything but advised to pick him up/trade for him/whatever. Said RB crushes the box score for 2 weeks and he's good I told you so is your comeback?

Nice burn dude

What burn? I was just saying he's a good rb in a good situation not a JAG in a good situation.

I went to the same college as him and even had a class with him. Obviously I am biased but I have seen him play since his freshman year of college
