There's something wrong with me. I said in krista's US Reveal that it was easier for me to pick records there than it would be for me to pick Stevie Wonder songs. I SAID IT. So, who did this idiot pick for an artist in this exercise? I'd have been better off picking Billy Joel records here.
I've narrowed it down to everything he's ever released. I just can't....I can't rank them as "worst to best". So, I need to find an obtuse angle. As Apollo Creed said, "what this fight needs is a novelty".

If I can hit a stride I will do a Local H list. Though I'm considering Pearl Jam if no one else does, just for broader appeal.
(Unless somebody else is doing it, I am catching up on the thread today)
If I had time or energy to do more, I would have done krista's projects which I still regret missing.. but WORK is WORK now and that's good for my life tbh but I am still adjusting

Another idea is tiers. There is no scoring here, so I kinda like some sort of randomness in this effort. I'm looking forward to the Stevie list big time.

I just tested posting just one day of the seven lists in another thread in the hoops forum.
It's VERY important that you :
1) Type the Song Title First.
2) Most important thing - Then press RETURN BUTTON so so link is on the next line.
3) enter song link.
The board won't won't make it look nice and fancy unless it's done exactly this way.
The entries with just the song link didn't give the nice and fancy read out like this: (same with the one that had song title and link on same line). Enjoy this live version of Message in a Bottle. By far the best version of it I've ever heard.

My approach is that I need to be able to find it on Spotify, meaning it was an official release by the band. Brandi Carlile does a great cover of "A Case of You" (Joni Mitchell), but it was never released on a BC album, so I'm leaving it out.

I just want to point out that folks should not worry about this. Go ahead an post YT for a song or entire list if you need to.
It might turn out, if formatted the way I've asked, that each day list will have a link to YT or Spot and we can use that as the daily play list.

Apologies if missed earlier in thread - what's the ruling on remixes, if I had taken Cornershop could I take the original version of Brimful of Asha as one pick, and then the Fatboy Slim remix as another pick?

Since I'm not familiar with any of those, I don't know how to answer that.
The rule is if your artist played with someone else, that is fine to add it to your list.

It's quite possible that we won't have a daily Spotify list. If done as above, it formats GREAT on this forum and we can use that as the daily play list, and people can just click on the song links

OK - was just thinking of a random example that came up in the boozer yesterday, my artist has multiple tracks which have been remixed, as is pretty standard in the genre, but they're done so in such a way that it sounds like a hugely different record. Not something I would be wanting to abuse hugely, I might have done different versions of the same track maybe twice tops, just wanting to know.

The limit of the forms is set to the max. I'm not exactly sure what the max is though. Only one person has included comments so far, and the only one I looked at was brief, so I'm not sure how it would all play out.
If you want to post them each day when they are posted, I think that would work best. If you have time constraints on doing that, you can PM me your song comments and I can post them right after I pot the list for the day. I don't mind doing that if it's just a few. I like the comments after the daily post as I think it generates more conversation. Binky less.
