Video and audio show a hand to hand where a ballot harvester in Minneapolis, alleged to work for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, gives cash in exchange for confirming the surrender later of a blank absentee ballot. More interviews, audio and video discuss a heavily funded and coordinated system ( including databases, use of interpreters to cast votes, taking advantage of first generation immigrants and abuse of the elderly) to harvest ballots and commit election and voter fraud.

Many American citizens and many in the mainstream media believe there is no voter/election fraud, or will claim that it is not widespread nor highly organized nor heavily funded or will suggest any host of reasons to deny it's existence.

I believe it's safe to say that Ilhan Omar is The Squad's weakest link in terms of threatening to undermine all of their long term political careers.

Let's take an inventory

- There are these videos where it's claimed that Ilhan Omar is sending out minions to ballot harvest, via cash payments, to win elections and to support an anti-Israel agenda, as well as taking advantage of the elderly and first generation immigrants. The key subject of the video later claims the 200 dollars was NOT for a blank absentee ballot but for a sick child in Somalia. ( Does this guy write spam scammer emails by the millions on the side too?)

- She's accused of basically being a home wrecker, cheating on her own husband and stealing the husband of another woman.

- She's accused of campaign finance fraud ( which also implies tax fraud) by funneling nearly 3 million dollars to her "new husband's business"

- She cites 9/11 as simply "someone... did something", inciting a national firestorm where Congress literally voted to change the rules to stop comments like this in the future

- She is generally accused of antisemitism ( How many FBG's here are Jewish? Not asking specifically but this can get very very very personal to people to see this kind of talk coming from Omar) 

- She pushed for "Defund The Police" like the rest of The Squad, while Minneapolis, like many other Big Blue strongholds, was looted and burned down from the endless rioting.

So while conservatives are getting run through the coals for far less than what Omar has done/been accused of doing, she seems to keep on trucking the same way with the same brutal tone deaf style of alleged corruption and general bigotry.

And now that the DNC has a Super Majority, instead of addressing this alleged Omar scandal, they want to double down with the For The People Act and the Vote At Home Act which would only make the ballot harvesting and election/voter fraud shown on these videos to be even easier.

The New York Times (via Maggie Astor) printed an article saying the Project Veritas videos in the OP were misleading and disinformation, so PV and James  O'Keefe sued the NYT for defamation.

So let's see what happens.

It's unfortunate that you've dismissed this topic as there are many issues embedded here that impact voting for the future. The "For The People" Act and the "Vote At Home" Act both are pushing for sweeping changes to how our Republic handles elections. The issue of interpreters coming into the polling/voting booths is another problem, esp when you are dealing with those voters who don't understand English. How the elderly handle voting is yet another question that gets raised here. Whether it's ethical for political campaigns to allegedly maintain databases to track who has requested and received their absentee ballots.

But why address any of that, right?

Liban Mohamed aka Liban Osman is Jamal Osman's biological brother.

So the narrative you are going to push here is that Liban Osman, shown on video multiple times with stacks of absentee ballots, with the explicit stated design to rig the vote for Jamal Osman, is being truthful in his "defense" which says he took 10 thousand dollars to lie on camera and betray his own brother. Which would clearly ostracize him from his family and the entire Minneapolis Somalian community.

Then the narrative would have to be that Liban Mohamed aka Liban Osman is correct when he said the portion of the video showing a ballot harvester giving 200 dollars for a blank absentee ballot was actually NOT that, despite all the audio context saying otherwise, but really money to be sent to a sick little girl in Somalia.

In order to hold onto your political tribalism, you are going to have to find a better way to rationalize all of this.

You know nothing about vote by mail. You realize people expect to get their ballots and might wonder why they didn't get their ballot after receiving a notice in the mail and by email to expect them. They also might question the notice they get after you vote saying we got your vote.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is reportedly severing financial ties with her husband's political consulting firm after previous payments to his company totaling nearly $2.8 million ignited scrutiny and complaints to a campaign finance watchdog. 

In an email to supporters on Sunday, Omar, D-Minn., said her campaign was terminating its contract with E Street Group to “make sure that anybody who is supporting her campaign with their time or financial support feels there is no perceived issue with that support,” according to the Star Tribune, which first reported the news.

People may have cried fowl when it was implemented in other states at the last minute and skipped things like signature verification because they didn't have the time for the amount of ballots.  States that had strict rules for absentee ballots suddenly allowed "fear of covid" as an excuse.

He was basing his opinion of mail in voter fraud off of his experience  voting in Minnesota. In states that have mail in voting as the standards there  is no way one guy can vote for an entire apartment complex. There are to many checks along the way.

A group could what? Successfully forge the signatures of hundreds of people? Even if that were possible (which it's not), then your entire scheme would fall apart if just one person noticed that their ballot was missing.

That's why we know that your scheme has never been tried in the history of this country, despite literally millions of opportunities to do so. The risk-to-reward ratio is so high that the money and effort would be far more productive if directed elsewhere.

Of the "projected" 50 thousand Somali residents in Minnesota -  more than half can't speak English or do so at a non functional level.

Of the projected 75 thousand Hmong residents in Minnesota -  about forty percent can't speak English or do so at a non functional level.

The above are best estimates, the language barrier and the density of the populations make it difficult to effectively get a grasp on an accurate number of residents. Safe to say, there are a lot of them. Some estimates put the number of Somalians in Minnesota at over 100 thousand, with close to 200 thousand there who can speak the language.

The 2020 Census in Minnesota needed translators to deal with those residents who only could speak their native Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Russian, Arabic, Tagalog, Polish, French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese and Japanese.

The videos in the OP state part of the problem -

1) Ballot harvesters are taking advantage of the large parts of the community that don't speak English and are still steeped in their old cultural norms, since the Somali population is large enough ( hundreds of millions in purchasing power, hundreds of small businesses, major Somali dominated areas ) to support that functional separation from American mainstream society. Many don't understand American elections, nor fully comprehend American law and many fear the idea of government period, thus are conditioned to keep quiet. That's not uncommon for any immigrant community currently and throughout American history.

2) Ballot harvesters are targeting the elderly. These are people who may not have full agency at this point and may simply fall in line with their cultural leaders, noted business leaders in the area and religious leaders because that's all they've ever known.

3) Ballot harvesters are taking advantage of people who are paid or incentivized to move in and out of an area for 30 days to qualify as a voter in that district. So an apartment complex could have many more people claimed to live there than actually normally live there on an actual functional basis.

The Democratic Farmer Labor Party has long been accused of weaponizing these methods, among others, to generate major voting blocks from these vulnerable immigrant communities.

Do you know for such your ballot was counted?

Another thing about vote by mail for me personally I feel it makes me a more informed voter in the tons of local issues we are voting on. I take each issue I have no clue on and research what they wanting to do as I vote. Many times my first impression of the reading of the bill changes after reading pros and cons.
