**MNF Lions at 49ers** (+3.5, 50.5) 8:15 (3 Viewers)

Campbell is consistent with his aggressiveness, but in the first half, I'm a take the points guy so you're not chasing them in the second half.

Aikmen starting to do the “I knew that was going to happen” comments after the play happens that Phil Simms started doing the last few years he called games.

Great defensive stop there. Going for it was the right call, just got stopped, it happens. Ball was a little late, might have had ARSB underneath that for the 1st, but not the TD.

ETA: As someone facing LaPorta and starting ARSB with a small lead, I'll take it.

The yahoo box score is all jacked up.

They have Jamo with 1 run for -2 yards, and 1 TD. With a long of 3.

And 1 catch for 44 yards & a TD with a long of 41
This is correct.

He has a run for 3 yards and a TD and another run for -5.

He has a catch for 3 yards. And then he has the 41-yard hook and ladder play, which counts as receiving yards and a receiving TD, but not a reception.

this is probably why I'm not a coach but it seems so dumb to run it on 3rd with anything above 2 yards. I mean, I know there are plenty of successful 3rd down runs but it just seems like you'd have a much better chance throwing the ball.

Wow. That’s wild.

Depends on your personnel. Eagles would just do 2 tush pushes.

I only need12.2 points from ARSB and Gibbs combined and not even feeling good about it. Worried and sick is more apt.

Feel like tonight the plan was to feature Jamo in particular and to a lesser extent some players whose involvement was lighter. Expect a heavy does of Tim Patrick before the night is over.

Campbell may not have been lying when he said they were would go full bore for the win, just not being forthright on what players they planned to utilize to do that.
Congrats on the championship !

combined 25/29 passing, which includes 2 throwaways

PFF in game grades:
  • Lions have generated 6 pressures
  • 4 missed tackles (2 by JRM)
  • 49ers have 4 pressures, 3 by Bosa
  • 7 missed tackles
49ers 3/3 in the RZ
Lions 1/2

Guerendo is a really smooth pass catcher.
He looks like CMC lite out there. IMO much more versatile than Mason. The whole playbook is available with Guerendo on the field. Huge difference in play style.

I like Mason - he’d do well in a zone read 1-cut type system.

If CMC retires they’ll make a dangerous 1-2 punch.

So how is that hook and ladder scored?

Pass TD? Rush TD?

Laporta gets the reception

Jamo gets the yards & TD
What does Goff get?

Passing TD & the length of the play

when they ran it earlier this year, Gibbs had 0 receptions 20 yards receiving & a receiving TD

Theoretically you could have a 1 for 160 and 2 TD game.
Or like Allen, a passing TD + rushing TD on one play.

CMC isn’t retiring anytime soon

that’s been the best part of Jamo’s development this year - really good on crossers

shut up Troy yer stealing my material

Bilateral Achilles tendonitis - it may not be a choice.

Let’s be realistic. It’s a super sketchy situation.

DET has the look of the most complete & dangerous offense in the playoffs.

Their defense is… a little shaky.

Eagles and Chiefs get stops. Who else does? We shall see.
Monty never went on IR, right?

If he comes back for the playoffs, they just get that much better.

Honestly feel like he was the key to hiding some of the Lions defensive liabilities as they could slow down the game with Monty rushing.
