**Monday Night Football - Giants at Steelers** (-6, 36.5) 8:15 (2 Viewers)

This game is going so incredibly bad for the Steelers, you can just feel it. All the NY penalties, no red zone offense. Please quit giving it to Warren in the red zone.

According to the NFL rulebook, for a catch to be considered complete, a receiver must have both feet or any part of their body other than their hands touch the ground inbounds, establishing possession of the ball while also making a football move, like taking another step or reaching for the line to gain; essentially, they need to have "two feet down" inbounds to secure the catch.

Key points about the "feet down" catch rule:

  • Two feet required:
Both feet must be inbounds when the player establishes possession of the ball.
  • Any part of the body:
Even if only a part of the body other than the hands touches the ground inbounds, it can still be considered a catch if the player has control of the ball and makes a football move.
  • Football move needed:
Simply catching the ball is not enough; the receiver must demonstrate the ability to make a play with the ball by taking a step or extending for the line to gain.

Just when you think Tomlins challenges can't get dumber, he gets a penalty for throwing the challenge flag on an unchallengable play. BUT ALSO, he would have lost the challenge anyway. :ROFLMAO:

Beat me to it. It’s “both,” not “two."
