NFL Preseason 2018 Game Observations Thread (1 Viewer)

This is what sucks about the Browns. Mayfield is a billion percent better than Taylor, and should be the starter day one.

Too bad Hue Jackson and his arrogant dumb-### will continue to start Taylor because Jackson is the one driving the bus.

If I was Dorsey I would have fired that idiot the moment those words came out of his mouth last night.
Taylor ran the plays and made the plays as they were drawn.

Mayfield went college ball and freelanced.  Didn't look bad doing it.. but Taylor was the superior QB this evening.

Hawks Oline looks improved and/or and Colts DLine is really bad.

Penny with some nice quickness on a run.

Russell looks great.

What is this sorcery of Pete Carroll? Carson taking carries with second team, Mike Davis in and is Penny done for tonight?

Ralph Webb had 46 yds on 14 carries and 2 TD’s tonight for the Pats.
They spent good $ as far as UDFA go...I think they would love to get him on the practice squad and be there if there are injuries...the guy to watch is Hill...he is still only 25 and if the Pats can get him going that backfield will be a fantasy minefield (not that it usually isn't)...

Carson looks like he did before the injury. Runs hard as hell, makes good cuts. Him and Penny could be great for the Hawks, bad for fantasy.

J. Hill is going to be a factor in the NE backfield. Believe it or not.
I've been saying this all off season and nobody seems to get it. Jeremy Hill is the goalline back of the New England Patriots lead by Tom Brady. He's playing the same role that allowed Legarette Blount to score 18 touchdowns in 2016.

Surprise, surprise. He gets goalline carries and scores a touchdown in the first pre-season game.

I could bet you he gets cut and I would have the same odds.
