Man!
I was geeked about checking the Priest Holmes box in the annual FBG Survivor Contest and then, after creating my entry, I figure out that he's not even available!
The Survivor Contest is one of my favorite things on FBG. It takes out of the equation the sharing what we all know collectively (ie. all the wisdom we share to individually to dominate our separate and unique FF leagues) and then pitts us against each other -- mono a mano -- in an almost gladiatoresque contest to see who was really paying the most attention. And who learned the most about the deep sleeper STUDs which can be had for good VALUE (which is what we ALL want to know anyways.) Its either that or else, it just rewards one lucky SOB who managed to click 22 decent players and still keep his cap under 250... who really knows anyways? But either way, no matter how well or how lousy my FF league is going (yes, i still only play in one -- the same one for 11 years, but its the greatest so I don't think I'd find any VBD benefit in joining a second league) I still live and die every Tuesday morning when checking out the results of the FBG Subscriber contest.
I sure do wish Priest Holmes was on the list so I could check his box, but my entry looks pretty good without him and I'm looking forward to kicking all of your collective tails.
Good Luck to EVERYONE this season and THANK YOU to Joe and David, for the greatest "Insider Info" site on the web.
