instead of having many threads once the draft starts... please allow this to be the thread that follows the draft. i am doing this for two reasons.1) maybe this could be pinned so it does not move down the board to much.2) i dont have cable so i cannot watch the draft thus having one thread would help those of us who are either at work, or do not have cable.thanks to all who update the draft... much appreciated.

Great idea Psychology Kev  This will greatly help me out seeing that I am at work. I just hope that people can comply with your request.

Christmas for men today  Sad to hear about Eli's stance with the Chargers, but the NFL has a draft for a reason and you have to deal with it. With that said, Eli is going 1st overall to either the Giants or Chargers because the Giants sure as heck don't want to gamble with AL Davis and Denny Green. The Giants will take him at 1 because a Manning in NY would sure as hell generate some interest in the Giants, and last time the Chargers traded down from the number 1 overall, they got themselves one of the best running backs of the last 5 years in LT2. It should be a fun day for the fans.

You mean Tomlinson....

 Thanks for the catch. Fixed.
WOW... X is back but for how long?? now all we need is an air fryar siting and this day wont get any better.maybe the packers will get who they want though

We have already seen both sides of the spectrum from the crowds today :rotflmao: GB the great Pat Tillman and FU Eli and Archie.Sauceboy just reported the Chargers are saying FU to Eli and are picking him #1 anyways. :excited:

Great updates thus far guys.....thanks  Please keep um coming for all like myself at work or without a TV.

GB the crowd's respectful silence during the Tillman tribute. That was a nice tribute.
Yeah. I was expecting some drunk to give a whoop and holler, but thankfully that didn't happen. A very nice tribute.

Okay, they are now showing a Chunky Soup CommercialAnd now a H2-Hummer CommercialAnd now back to the draft...(TMI???)

The tension during that short Suzy Kolberg interview with the Mannings was palpable. It will be an ackward situatino when/if the Chargers call Eli first and then he has to accept the hat. Should be interesting.

 If you have time to post it, then I have time to read :D

Kev, they are showing John Elway talk right now from before the draft. Also the crowd went nuts when Tags said SD is on the clock. Should be very interesting right now but the Chargers must be in talks because if they knew exactly what they planned on doing, they would have taken Eli already. But right now SD is probably heavy in talks right now.

listening to ESPN radio and hoping for the live video feed but nothing yet on that front... GB live radio though.

If I was the Chargers, I'd let the clock expired and take either Manning or Gallery from the second hole (if a trade wasn't in the works).

I agree - however, might that have been THE single shortest moment of silence, EVER? I swear, I stood up when he said a moment of silence and before I even shifted my feet, it was over.GB them for taking the moment, though.Oh, and big thumbs down, sell-out, loss of respect for Chuck D rapping the NFL's intro.Talk of Giants taking Rivers and trading for Manning is interesting, but it seems like the Chargers could get more out of Cleveland and still get Rivers. Including a much needed WR in Northcutt.

1. SD - Eli Manning, QB, Mississippi

They did it.

Lots of talk so far about a pick-and-trade with SD taking Manning at #1 and NYG taking Rivers at #4, then swapping rookie QBs, though.

You have to be careful, though. AZ & NYG could get their picks in quickly.

you can tell paul t is standing there telling him to just hang in and get through it. held the jersey kind of high and kind of grinned

What a CLASSIC look on Eli's face.UNBELIEVABLE START TO THE 2004 DRAFT!I liked the "Wear the Hat" chant better than "Eli Sucks".

Agreed, on all points! And Eli, it's not just the fans booing you - it's everyone, regardless of team affiliation.
