Says the broken Giants fan ;) Hey Jamny. Tough luck, maybe you will end up with Gallery or something. :thumbup: Nice to hear Eli talking about his hope that the Chargers trade him for players and picks. I am even amazed at how far he is taking this whole "I hate SD" bit.

Yeah, it's not working AT ALL right now. I'll keep it open for a while longer to see if they (ESPN) can get it rolling.

Gallery to the Raidahs! Great pick by Al. This guy is huge, smart, strong, a leader, and has that Raider mean streak when he plays. Great pick. This guy is going to be a multiple pro-bowler and a huge addition.

 
So it would seem that Roy Williams is going to fall out of the Top 4, assuming Fitzgerald and Rivers/B-Roth are the next two taken. Interesting....

I think Manning would be a mistake. I hope they get Gallery. Not really a Giants fan though, but better than rooting for the Jets here in NY.
 
Great pick by Oakland. Not the flashy skill position pick that most fans want to see, but you don't pass on an OT of Gallery's caliber.

no they just cut into the radio broadcast and show it automatically; no buttons to click. they just finished with Gallery highlights.

Big generous smile - it was CLEAR he was happy to be the #2 overall selection - Manning looked like someone just neutered his dog and made him swallow the leftover pieces while sitting for a school picture.

But most said the Raiders would take Roy Williams. Not that I'm complaining. I'm hoping he somehow falls to ATL at #8.

What are the chances that the Cards, get a QB that can throw the ball to those great WR? Free Agent? Trade?

Not "most" - that was not a surprise to a lot of folks on these boards. Anyone around football knows that grabbing your starting LT is gonna get you closer to competitiveness than grabbing a WR.Esp. when you can get a good WR - normally a first round talent WR - with the second selection in the second round. Or, a RB in the second for Gallery to open holes for.
 
Arizona taking Fitz is a silly move. Maybe they'll trade down and take a WR they don't need a little later.

I've got no qualms with the "build a strength" rather than "patch a weakness" strategy.Three talented, young Wr's, and Denny should be well on the way to an offense he can use to drag this team upwards.
 
Talk now by Sal is the Giants take Rivers and then trade for Eli Manning is highly likely to occur.Ben Roth to the Browns?
