Well, it didn't take me until 11:59pm.... I swapped out my TE 'teener with some TE scrubbs and another rb flier.

Well, this year I opted to try a shorter roster strategy. I finished with 21, but I am far stud heavier than I am used to being. I have made it to the final 500 or final week for three years running, but I have never had the horses to put up the BIG weeks. Hopefully, this strategy changes some things. We shall see.

I just hope they actually close it on the deadline this year. Would save me from changing it in the morning again and again.
Currently sitting at 24 players. Mixture of studs and mid-level players. Only a few cheap flyers. But this will probably change.

If you are going to go with a large number of players, this is the way to do it. I like this team. It's a little thin at RB, but it is a long contest and injuries happen.

Don't worry....people will start posting their teams before it is really locked because they can't wait any longer. Then panic will set in and people will be second guessing themselves and start changing everything....but what they don't know is that the teams will be locked on time this year and they will be stuck with a team that they didn't really want in the first place.Totally normal. It's actually an entry that resulted from what was essentially a 2 hour debate between my brother and I over every last detail, lol.I actually decided to swap out Brees/Flacco and save $10 by going with Ryan/Luck. I then used that $10 on Titus Young.If you are going to go with a large number of players, this is the way to do it. I like this team. It's a little thin at RB, but it is a long contest and injuries happen.

I would have used that money on a RB....you are stacked at WR. I would replace Ridley or Lynch + the $10 bucks and pick up a stud. You know you're addicted to the Subscriber Contest when:
1. you easily and often go into the contest screen and check/uncheck a bunch of boxes in quick succession and have the rearranged team hit $250 on the nose - as you knew it would.
2. you lay awake at night going through permutations of positions and costs and bye weeks.
3. you have a nagging regret (and fear) about all the players you really wanted to have on your roster but didn't make the final cut.

We have many of the same key players. 19 total players on my roster. I'm happy to know that I'm not the only crazy out there rolling with 5 WR.

It won last year....in fact 4 out of the top 5 had 18 players. Not saying it will happen again, but there is a chance. I think the key last year, there weren't a lot of injuries to top QBs or RBs and a few middle/low priced guys exploded onto the scene. 6 RB's & 6 WR's Definitely going the "stud" route as best as I can.
I seriously did have an iteration with 14 TE's and 27 total players. However I didn't think I could win it all so I went with what I felt were the 5 best value TE's.
Did anyone notice that RB's have a full PPR instead of 0.5 as in previous years?
Question: How many rosters have Cedric Benson & Evan Royster? I'm guessing in the 60%-75% range.

McFadden is the key to this team. If he stays healthy, you should go far. Weeks six and seven will spread your WR's thin with 2 out of your 6 on byes each of those weeks. It's just nit picking really...This is a very strong team.

For the past three years I've been all-in on the more the merrier approach, and I've survived to week 10-12 every time. This year the settings pushed me towards a 22-player stud-laced roster. Hope I make it to the dance.

But anyways, I've gone and changed my entry AGAIN lol. Gave thought to potential RB issues and used the profit from the QB switch on David Wilson rather than Titus Young. After doing that, I had another dollar so I upgraded from NE to the SF defense.Here's the new permutation:
After at least 30 changes I'm done and I still don't like my RB or WR. Started out with 25+ total players and slowly keep leaning towards fewer players, more studs. Last year I had a bunch of low priced players that didn't pan out and I didn't have a backup QB (McNabb)... so that has something to do with my strategy change this year. Hoping to do better than last year's Week 11 bust.
