Surely this is only interesting to me, but I officially submitted nine different entries before finally settling on my tenth and final entry. (In reality, I created dozens of entries, but these ten were the only ones I actually entered and submitted on the website at some point.) I saved them all just for "fun" and just decided to check on them. Here are the results for how each of them would've fared:

Code:
ENTRY	SIZE	AVG SCORE	STATUS1	22	158.95	Eliminated in week 42	19	166.10	Eliminated in week 53	21	163.39	Eliminated in week 54	23	159.39	Eliminated in week 55	23	174.13	Alive6	23	175.27	Alive7	22	174.29	Alive8	22	163.83	Alive9	26	164.81	Alive10	23	189.07	Alive
Looks like I made the right call so far!
i think we would all agree that a large roster is better for the first 13 weeks. that was never really the argument.
I have no idea what that has to do with the post you quoted.

THE CONTEST IS NOW LOCKED.

you are not talking about roster size?

Obviously not. I have no idea how you got that idea from that post.

Looks like I'm going to be out this week. I'm sitting at 68 points now.

Also - Just noticed an error while looking at my team. On the site, it lists McCluster as a WR, but he's a RB on the official contest.

Sweating the Turk for the first time in a while: 123.85 plus James Jones and Kevin Walter -11.0 and -5.9 (WR and flex spots).

168 with Rivers (-Ponder) and Gates (-Miller) to go.

Next week might be tough with Rivers, Gates and Reggie Bush on bye along with Amendola and Benson out. But, I get Marshall and Blackmon back next week.

Looking forward to seeing the cutline - hoping the guess of 136 is good...

144.25 with Peyton (-25.15), Tamme (-10.4), Prater (-19) to go.

Looks like a lot of low-scoring teams on the boards so far this week. I'll add mine:

110.05 + All of Arian Foster's points. Really sweating!

I'm now at 145.85 + (Foster - 1.70) + (Prater - 19.0)

Hopefully that'll be good enough.

Btw, our hero LHUCKS is now at 128.25 + (Gates - 2.4) + (Prater - 14.0)

109.1 after early games not looking good for the Home team.
That's a great score. You're probably better off than 75% of the field.
I hope you're right. I'm at 119 with only a few guys left. I do have two low scores that can easily be replaced right now, though, so it won't take much to start moving my score up.
I agree as well. Currently at 139.15 and only have Willis McGahee (-6.20) left to go. If the cut-off is much above 140, I'm probably toast.

132.05 with Rodgers (-21.15) and Foster (-4.90) left to go.Feel a little better now than I did early this afternoon.

Fitzpatrick was not a good backup for Brees apparently...

107. Jones/Royal -1.4 and 4.3. Crosby and Prater -0. Gates -5.9. Gonna be tight.

124 (-0) points with Decker still left to play.

Should be close, if I make it through this week ive gotten through pretty much all byes

LOL...first the guys in the upper 120's are worried about the cutline, then the guys in the 140s, now a guy around 160 is hoping for low scoring games.

eta - I'm at 114 plus all of Foster and Royal.

Wow if the cut is >130 I might be in trouble at 114 with James Jones (-6.00 ABrown) and Eddie Royal (-6.80 Turbin) to increase. Got a shot to break 130 but this was ugly for my Ryan/Luck/Locker QB trio especially.

Sitting at 144, so I feel safe this week.

It will be a miracle if I make it through next week.

How do you guys plan out your year? I thought I had myself covered, but have 7 people om bye next week. I realize it is impossible to know who is going to score for you and who will be a dud, but I am in big trouble next week.

Well, I'm hoping the prediction of a low cut line is true, or this'll be my first week sweating the Turk.

Ryan/Locker/Tebow as my QBs not looking so hot for this week, and certainly not for next.

Using last week's scoring, the 20th percentile line was at 131.55. I'd guess 135+ should be plenty and 130-135 is where you should be sweating.

I'm at 149.6 this week. Possible but unlikely to add to that total. Lowest weekly total this season for me. Guess I gotta keep fingers crossed this week...sounds like the totals say be low I may get lucky.

Cutline right around 109 at the start of tonight's game.
Hmm, I may actually have a shot. Once McCluster is given credit as a RB (he's a WR on the site, but a RB on FBG's official list), I'm at 113. I have Crosby going now and forgot I have Decker tomorrow. It will be really close.

136.45 with McGahee -2.7, Gates/Dreesen -2.4 and Decker -3.8. Feeling good about making it through this week. If I don't get knocked out next week, I should go far. That said, I'm getting knocked out next week.

I generally just try to spread them fairly well across positions, and hope that all of the guys who end up scorers don't have the same week (e.g. Andre Roberts, Damien Williams, and Ryan Broyles were all in the "hope one or two is good" bucket, but didn't know if I'd end up depending on any of them when the season started).QB - 3 QB's, 3 bye weeksRB - 5 RB's, 5 bye weeksWR - 9 WR's, 6 bye weeks total, 5 over $10 all have different bye weeks, 4 under $10 all have different bye weeksTE/K/D - 3 at each position, 3 bye weeks per position too
