I'm kinda surprised by the lack of PED accusations with Machado. We've got a young guy with impressive numbers coming off serious injury and a long-term recovery who appears to have serious anger issues that flare up out of nowhere. His organization just signed Nelson Cruz as a FA, so if nothing else he likely has access to suppliers (if not an organization that condones PED use).

I don't like it when people run around making these sort of accusations just because a guy's numbers jump or he bulks up, but at some point you lose the right to a presumption of innocence. And I'd say that point is when you throw a bat at someone else.
Like when Roger Clemens threw a broken bat at Mike Piazza?
He thought it was the ball, you guys.

I have "likes" for anyone who can share articles about how visiting teams offense does at Coors relative to their other road & home games. Team by team splits are best, overall comparison is okay.

Baseball-reference play index should show this.

It's in 2 pages, but you can obviously just copy and paste into a spreadsheet.

I just did a comparison of OPS by team super quickly, so it could be wrong, but i don't know how the hell to post a table well in here.

Is that for this season? Why does a team like Texas only have two stats? They played at Coors this season.

Ok cool. Thanks for the link

The Rays are having an online auction during the game. One of the prizes up for bid is "Pitching lessons with Grant Balfour."

Is he giving them or taking them?

The Rays have not scored a run in the last 28 innings.

The Cardinals have not allowed a run in the last 27 innings.

Dallas Braden is shockingly outstanding on Baseball Tonight. Very comfortable in front of the camera, and the man's got opinions.
Dude has always been great in front of the camera. Very friendly, charismatic, and doesn't really hold back from expressing his thoughts in a simple manner. Wasn't a great pitcher, but rough to see anyone's career end prematurely from injuries. Glad he's making the most of it on Baseball Tonight.

My God, Doolittle is just filthy and his K/BB ratio is stupid. You'd better get to their starters in the playoffs because nobody is touching the back of their pen.

This game in Anaheim is never gonna end. If summoning Jeff Francis from the bully to face Trout isn't the cure, I don't know what is.

Edit: Can't believe Jeff Francis gave up a walk-off HR.
