Reminds me of when Yankee fans gave standing ovations to Giambi and ARod after they first came back from the steroid admissions. Like ok you can support the guy for being honest (well at least Giambi), but they were actually getting cheered MORE than anybody else. You have Ethier who's terrible batting 5th. Put Dee in the 1 or 2 hole, drop everyone down 1 and deepen that lineup. Take advantage of the only thing he actually does well.

So maddening.

Bruce Bochy uses his challenge on a pick-off play, lost, then two plays later Giants nail a guy at the plate and he was called safe. Managers will likely become more selective in their challenges I think, each are learning the nuances as we go.
