If he is still there, from what I have been reading his stock has skyrocketed. He could be pick 32-20 in the 1st.

We would. Unless he agrees to sign long term. I still think Kendricks + Perriman would be better then 20th pick LB + Floyd.
EDIT: Actually it's not that bad of a deal the more I think about it.

The Eagles would trade quarterback Sam Bradford, linebacker Mychal Kendricks, defensive end Fletcher Cox, and the No. 20 pick to the Tennessee Titans for the No. 2 pick in the draft. Bradford could also go to the Cleveland Browns for the No. 19 pick, and then that pick would be shipped to the Titans.

Either one of those seems like a steal for the Eagles if Mariota ends up being a 10-year franchise QB. Cox and Kendricks are both due extensions; so they got 3 years out of both of them on cheap rookie contracts. In addition to them it would effectively be a 1st this year and a 2nd next year to land Mariota.
The Eagles would be giving up comp picks in trading them vs just letting Cox/Kendricks go in free agency. Both could potentially net 3rd round picks. So if you put all of it in terms of picks, Eagles would be giving up 1/2/3/3. Still seems really cheap for a franchise QB, though.
Washington gave up 1/1/1/2, for comparison.

So pretty much it would be:
Foles + 2nd Rounder + comp 3rd/4th rounders to move up from 20 to 2? And we'd get a 3rd back from st louis too.

Would be better to have both. Losing these guys and going in with a starting rookie QB seems to take us out of contention for this season anyways. I guess that's okay thouugh.

One step back to take two steps forward. The fact that you don't give up any future picks makes taking the step back more palatable.
If we did this move, and had a 9 win season, that would be amazing.
The only strange thing about the Bradford move to me is the whole texting scenario between him and Murray. One of the reasons Murray said he signed with us was because Bradford would be there... Seems like Murray would be pissed if Bradford got traded.
Maybe Mathews still signed knowing bradford/murray were going to get packaged in a deal and we trade them both haha. Kidding.

I thought the Eagles received a 5 this year and a conditional 3 next year if Bradford doesn't play and that pick is voided if he's traded. I could be wrong.

Eagles rescinded tender on Polk. He's free to sign elsewhere.

If they go by the draft pick value chart, it's overpayment. The theory is; by moving from 20 to 2, the Eagles have to make up 1750pts.
2nd pick = 2600pts
12th (Cox) = 1200
19th = 875
20th = 850
46th (Kendricks) = 440
That's more than enough. It's not this simple obviously, just pointing out the draft values.

You may want to value Cox and Kendricks as 3rd round picks as well.

Chip is looking for system players. Nothing more, nothing less. So much so that Tebow gets a look.
Mariota is the best QB to ever come out of this kind of system. He's Peyton Manning to Chip Kelly. He almost has so sell it all to get Manning(Mariota). I believe all the rumors(finally). I was an idiot for thinking he was different in this regard.
Bradford seems like a decent plan B.

Yeah, I think the top players who fit that description are Randall, Jones, and Rowe. Maybe Rollins too.
Right. Also the fact that they both have one-year left on their rookie deals. The Titans would have to immediately extend them. While the Titans have the 3rd most cap space, it's still not an ideal situation to trade picks for expensive players; you're losing out on many years of cheap, high-level play.Insein said:

They would solidify four positions; DE/ILB and two immediate contributors at 19/20. If only one pick is used defensively TEN could turn a bottom feeder defense into a stacked front seven. Their secondary is already pretty good; if they hit on just one of those two picks defensively you're talking about a Seattle-like defensive turnaround.

Still torn if I want this to happen or not. I know it's Sam Bradford... I know the injuries. But I think I really bought into what he could be in our system and with a good oline and weapons. I kinda wish we get to see what he can do for us, but we obviously won't get to if we get MM.ShaHBucks said:

Eagles have to get Rowe or Jones in the 1st. I prefer Byron Jones of the two(over anyone in the draft perhaps), but Rowe would be awesome. *Rowe can play safety If Mariota is drafted here then he might be my top rookie for fantasy.

Mariota is the "Andrew Luck" of Chip's system per say. What you give up to get Luck when he was drafted? More than what the skins gave up right?
