This is an older crowd in Nevada...lots of retirement communities.
All playing aside, I get why many don't like Trump. He's brash, no doubt about it. I don't disagree with what was said above. Given that, I'm not sure why everyone is concerned so much about Trump but not Bernie. Yes we beat back Communism, yet so many seem ready to embrace Socialism. To me, that's the much more dangerous to us long term than someone who you think may be too brash or a bad president. You know SIDA I agree with you about that we used to have moxie, and we used to be a stronger nation, more respected. But it wasn't about being tougher, or being a bully the way Trump acts. It was about ingenuity, smarts, and generosity. What were our greatest post-war achievements? The Berlin Airlift. The Marshall Plan. The space program. The Civil Rights movement. Norman Borlaug, who fed the world. We were smarter, dammit. We were generous. And we beat back Communism and saved the world from starvation.
That's what we need to get back to. Trump, IMO, leads us in the wrong direction.
Wonder with all that good stuff, why we accepted the lefts view of America. You know SIDA I agree with you about that we used to have moxie, and we used to be a stronger nation, more respected. Has to open at 20, right? So what's the over/under on the difference between Trump and whatever chump comes in 2nd place tonight?
What does this mean?A few weeks ago everyone said tonight would be Rubio's firewall. Guess not.
Does any of this really matter?bolzano said:The rumor is that Greg Abbott will be endorsing Cruz tomorrow. The Texas primary is Cruz's Alamo, so the importance of this endorsement cannot be understated. If you're a Rubio supporter, this is terrible news. If Cruz wins in Texas, he's likely to remain in the race until at least March 15. Therefore, Rubio will not be able to face Trump one-on-one in Florida. If Rubio doesn't win on his home turf, his viability will be a difficult sell.

Updated quote from source: "40-50 loose ballots on table." Counter looked at them, put them under envelopes. Wouldn't budge when called out.

Man here says "it's a disaster." No one is checking in or checking IDs. They're handing out ballots willy nilly. Some guy voted trump twice
These caucuses are complete circuses...we really need to replace them with something legitimate.
First Iowa and now this cluster####? Embarrassing for the entire country.
Now double the pissed off anger magnitude by ten when you ask republicans how they feel about their party and leadership.Wow. 93% dissatisfied or angry with the government.
In post election analysis in December, Tim finally agrees.Wow. 93% dissatisfied or angry with the government.

fypIn the Western Mountain states people are very irate. Utah/Nevada/Colorado/Montana/Idaho/NewMexico.
This isn't Iowa or New Hampshire, out West the "cowboy" contingency is very pissed off...and the Republicans out West don't vote on religion unlike parts of the Midwest and the South. Completely different ballgame out West.
They're trying to keep all those black Republicans from voting, natch. Why are people insisting on ID? Isn't that racist?
That's something I hadn't really considered, but certainly sounds plausible.bolzano said:Well, I think that Rubio can win if Cruz exits before March 15. I don't think that's going to happen, however, unless Cruz loses the Texas primary. Look, Cruz wants to be president some day, and he has to recognize that the chances of that happening decreases significantly if Rubio is the nominee. IMO, Rubio will beat Clinton, whereas Trump will not. Therefore, Cruz is probably thinking that it's best for him to block Rubio, and then run again in four years. Otherwise, he has to wait at least eight years.
I could see Cruz losing Texas to Trump and STILL refusing to quit. Why should he give a damn about Rubio?bolzano said:Well, I think that Rubio can win if Cruz exits before March 15. Rubio can't win. He's a lightweight extremist. He's getting crushed in Florida. He has been the most disappointing candidate of 2016. His biggest selling point is the myth that people think he can win. Eight more years of another amateur in the White House is not a winning strategy...bolzano said:Well, I think that Rubio can win if Cruz exits before March 15. I'm not sure Cruz's votes wouldn't mostly go to Trump anyway.I could see Cruz losing Texas to Trump and STILL refusing to quit. Why should he give a damn about Rubio?
It's amazing that the Republican Party doesn't want him and he's stomping the field. It's great entertainment.Doesn't this just seal it from Trump? The GOP establishment's head must be spinning.
Amanda Carpenter just said this on CNN, if Rubio forces Cruz out, Trump likely gets more of his voters.I'm not sure Cruz's votes wouldn't mostly go to Trump anyway.
These are Republican Hispanics, right? What do you think happens in November?44% Hispanic vote for Trump. #timheadexplodes
This is not news Amanda.Amanda Carpenter just said this on CNN, if Rubio forces Cruz out, Trump likely gets more of his voters.
Ok, I love bursting a narrative but you might want to verify how many Hispanics are being counted there.44% Hispanic vote for Trump. #timheadexplodes
It was on CNN. They said margin of error was 10%. So it could have been 54%Ok, I love bursting a narrative but you might want to verify how many Hispanics are being counted there.
