It is stupid. Boston has more wins than the Flyers and Detroit but are out of the playoffs because of the tie/loser points they both accumulated. But the league loves it because of the situation that happened this weekend with playoff spots being decided on the last days of the season. 

 
He's a HOF'er.  He's got The Cups, he has Selke's, Lady Bings, and he just passed the eye test.  One of the best two way players ever.

 
Just like the ####ty NHL to wait forever to announce the schedule.  Should have been ready to go the second Ana/Was ended.

Nobody is saying but I think MAF is on track to play. Doubt Sullivan would have played Murray in the finale if that wasn't the case. 

If both Murray and MAF can't play Wednesday I wouldn't be surprised if they go with the rookie Jarry over Zatkoff.

Slightly surprised that Saturday's game NBCSN opted for DAL-MIN over Ovechkin playing a bunch of scrubs.

I guess Pierre & Co. will be in Pittsburgh for the afternoon NBC game. Hope to hell this doesn't mean Beninininininati. :mute:

Just don't like this matchup at all for the Rangers. Think the individual games could be close but I see a short series unless McDonagh returns quickly. Can easily see an 0-2 start.

opener has St. Louis as slight favorite.  Nashville is a much bigger dog than the Wild (assuming Parise isn't secretly out). 

so I guess it's wishful thinking by you.

PS:  Chicago/STL is essentially a pick 'em--at least from a betting standpoint.

you called the Blues and Wild "wishful thinking" and then agreed with LA and NAS.  I simply pointed out that the Blues are actually slight favorites and the Wild are lesser dogs than Nashville who you "agreed" to win.  so not very wishful relative to the odds and your opinion.

Wings aren't exactly lighting the world on fire.  It is going to have to be ugly hockey for them to beat Tampa, even with Tampa's injuries.

 
I picked Tampa since there are more Roit fans here to irritate, but now that both sides are expecting failure I will reconsider just going with can't win with Bishop shtick

 
McDonagh is using a righty stick at practice. Not a good sign for his availability any time soon.
