Best play at camp: Filling in for injured starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill, backup Matt Moore had a good day of practice on Friday. Moore's best play was a nice deep ball to running back Damien Williams for 30-plus yards in team drills. Moore throws the best deep ball on the team.

Placed on injured reserve - was worse than anyone at the practice thought. :(zamboni said:Currently at Jets practice and Enunwa was down for awhile during 7x7 drills. Couldn't tell what happened. Walked off and into locker room a bit gingerly.
Hoping it's nothing, but stay tuned.
Sixth-round pick Elijah McGuire is "getting plenty of reps" with Matt Forte and Bilal Powell shelved at Jets camp.
It appears McGuire has handled run with the starters as Forte (hamstring) and Powell (neck) nurse day-to-day injuries. Per ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini, McGuire has been "steady, but he has yet to flash explosiveness." Just a 24th-percentile SPARQ athlete, McGuire is mainly intriguing for his plus versatility and situation behind two aging backs. He's a deep-league name to monitor.

Coach Hue Jackson said Monday that Randall Telfer is currently the Browns' No. 1 tight end.
Of Telfer, Jackson said he "likes his blocking," which was Telfer's strength as a sixth-round prospect coming out of USC in 2015. It's only a matter of time before first-rounder David Njoku emerges as a real threat, but for now the Browns are making Njoku pay his dues. In addition to Telfer, athletic second-year TE Seth DeValve is listed ahead of Njoku on the depth chart.

Ted Ginn is listed as the starter opposite Michael Thomas on the Saints' first unofficial depth chart.
He's listed directly ahead of Willie Snead, who is on the second team along with Brandon Coleman. Ginn was praised by Drew Brees after spring practices and has picked up right where he left off at camp. Meanwhile, Snead has been dinged up and missing practice time, though he was back out there Monday. Ultimately, all three of Thomas, Ginn, and Snead are expected to play heavy snaps in the Saints' big-play offense that loves to throw the ball around. Snead remains a strong WR3, and Ginn is worth a flier in the late rounds as a home run-hitter over the top.

It's interesting how some stories say Smallwood may break out, and others say he's falling behind in the pecking order. I guess that is the joys of training camp, when every beat writer has an opinion.Although part of his heavy workload has been because of both Blount and Pumphrey missing time, Smallwood has been getting more carries than veteran Darren Sproles and considerably more work than rookie Corey Clement ... but so far, Smallwood seems to be the best candidate on the offensive side of the ball (besides Wentz) to have a surprising breakout season.
Yeah, that's why, especially for RBs, I tend to take note of coaches discussing pass protection in particular as everybody knows that coaches always emphasize pass pro/will start guys who can protect their QBs.It's interesting how some stories say Smallwood may break out, and others say he's falling behind in the pecking order. This is a random complaint, but can anyone else with a Mac not scroll on these ESPN articles once the page finishes loading? I chalked it up as a fluke the first time, but it has happened to me for every one of them since the first, in both Chrome and Safari. You can scroll down on the content while the page is still loading, but as soon as everything is rendered, it gets stuck and won't move for anything.
