Official 2019 FBG Subscriber Contest (3 Viewers)

181.65, good for 55th at present, might drop a few slots tomorrow with nobody going.  Looked at past 3 seasons and seems you need to average 190-200 per game (depending on the year) to win it.  So breaking 180 isn't anything to gloat about, but not the kind of score that puts you out of contention after 1 week either.
Yea my 171.75 (95th) with nobody to go tonight doesn't exactly fill me with hope much for the next few weeks, but it sure was fun watching Brees and Thomas combine for 83.95 points!

Thought I had a pretty solid week with nice days from Ekeler (29.3) and Robbie Anderson (25.0) but total of 177.35 only good for 72nd with the MNF game still to go and no one playing in it.  Damn, this contest must be hard to win.

Not sure how to get equal-spaced font but here’s some key players and how much higher/lower represented they are amongst the top 25 vs all 250.

                                      Top-25  Top-250

Almost half of all remaining E Sanders owners (11/24) are currently in top-25, and similar for AJ Brown (5/11).  About 30% for Winston (16/55), Brees (2/7), and J Cook (3/10).  3% of Lockett owners (3/97) are currently in top-25.

P.S. if someone has a csv or sql db of all teams or something they share that would be cool... I pulled the above manually :’(

Well at least for a few days I like my position - LJax, Crowder, Andrews and Jets D got me 100.4 good enough for 3rd in the week and moved up to 4th overall  so far. Of course I was 97th (56.8 points back) before the week started, so it took a huge TNF effort just to get close....so not sure how things will end up when all the dust settles. Still its fun still hacking away at this though!

Gotta love being in 4th place right now for this week after finishing 209th last week. :ptts:

Man, scoring seems high this week... I'm at 179 points midway through the Sunday afternoon games, which normally I'd be thrilled with... but I'm not even in the top 40% (I'm at 102 of 250) for the week.

Well about 90% of the field posted about a 1/2 hundred at the QB position before Sunday kickoff.

Ghost Entry (148.95 last week)

205.60 + (Conner/Singletary - 11.90/16.40) + (Hauschka - 7.40)

Crazy amount of points out there this week.

50-somethingth last week and 13th so far this week... not many active players going tomorrow so should hold tight despite being done for the week.  Currently sitting in 9th overall, 24 points off the lead.  Julio finally came through with a big game and my two-top TE strategy going well... though many got similar results at cheaper price with Waller.

EDIT: Of course the team right behind me has Brees - 26 and M Thomas - 17, but hopefully I can stay top 10 headed into the final week.

Well that was short lived at #4 overall going into yesterday.....I dropped all the way down to 145th (81 points adrift)...not like I really thought things would hold up. Still have Brees (although he would have to top L-Jax) and M.Thomas to help chip away.

After losing D.Cook and Godwin yesterday - I'm just hoping to make top 150 at this point....lol!

Top 25 roster construction headed into final week:

            Min     Max     Mean     Median     Mode
Total     18     28     21.4     21     18
QB           2      3        2.6       3       3
RB           4      7        5.5       5       5
WR          4      9        6.2       6       5
TE           2      5        2.6       3       2
PK           2      3        2.2       2       2
DT           1      4        2.3       2       2

Only one team has neither Lamar nor Winston (#2 with Brees/Wilson/Darnold)... 8 have both

Only two teams have neither Waller nor Andrews (mine #11 with Kelce/Kittle and #16 with Cook/Witten/Walker)... 10 have both

20th place has the lowest “commonly owned” players amongst top 25 (only 5 of his 19 players with >10 owners, and none with >16)

1st place has the most “commonly owned” players amongst top 25 (8 of his 18 players with >10 owners, and 3 with >16)

1st and 7th place have 11 players in common:

J Winston
D Singletary
D Johnson
M Gallup
C Samuel
E Sanders
C Godwin
T Kelce
H Butker
A Seibert
Eagles

The only pairing that beats that is 24th and 25th places with 12 in common.

3rd overall now... could use a big game from Ekeler and at least 2 of Kelce/Golladay/Hardman.

Also could benefit from sub-par performances by Carson and Waller (widely owned by other contenders).

6th overall with 5.3 from my second flex and 0 from my second WR. Have Miles Sanders at RB, Waller and Henry at TE and Thielen, MVS and DeMarcus Robinson at WR.

Ghost entry up to about 56th  - a lot of big numbers (and none of them to spare really)

After 1pm

542.15 + (Carr - 40.20) + (Carson - 3.20) + (K Allen - 15.30) + (Prater - 5.50) + (Seahawks - 8.0)

Good luck to the actual contenders!

Whew! 5th place now. Ten points back of first. Still a zero at WR2. Have Robinson tonight and then Thielen and MVS tomorrow night to improve that zero. Let’s go.

Good luck.  You'll get 3 of the 4 in front of you.  3rd place (right now) has Kelce (and he's counting now).  Didn't look behind you yet.
