***Official Big Brother Thread*** No Spoilers Starts 7/6 (1 Viewer)

This just solidifies my commitment to make this the last episode of Big Brother I watch.

I did not like Paul, but could not stand Josh.

And it says alot about idiots that actually vote for favorite house guest....CODY....really..biggesta@@hole in the history of mankind.

Hey, Paul duped us all & played the best game...buuttt let's give it to someone who epitomizes the whiny culture of this country & probably still lives in his moms basement..BRAVO jury, your worse than the OJ jury.

anybody here who is mad Paul got ###-blasted tonight didn't see the live feeds.... Josh winning was more of a vote against Paul than anything else

:lmao: i think some of you guys take this show a wee bit too serious

No one should be surprised that a house full of people who had no clue about gameplay wouldn't respect and reward game play. They were there to make relationships or friends, not play a game, and the entire season was putrid as a result. The HOH button push sprint may have been the lowlight in the history of television.

For all he did right, I think the way Paul did Alex/Jason was his undoing. He said Josh was cowardly to throw him under the bus in goodbye videos, but his own innocent 'so-and-so must have gone rogue if you are watching this' goodbye videos were worse. Way worse. Particularly when contrasted against Josh's.

I'm good with Josh winning. Sure Paul played a good game but it came across as shady and behind your back. Say what you want about Josh at least he was up front about things. Like Alex said I'm going to vote for the person that stabbed me in the front and not in the back. I think Josh played a better game then people gave him credit for. Sure the whole banging the pots together thing was annoying but at least you know where you stood with Josh.

Going into the final vote I figured that Matt, Raven, and Kevin were votes for Paul.

I figured that Christmas was leaning towards Paul.

I thought that Josh probably had Mark, Cody, and Elena.

So I thought it would come down to Alex and Jason and they were the deciding votes.

I know it worked out fine, but that final comp with the final 2 is stupid. Might as well flip a coin.

I was indifferent with the outcome. I thought Paul was more deserving, but couldn't have been that deserving if vote count was close next to Josh.

Cody by far the luckiest dude on the planet tonight. Jessica has got to be the hottest ever on BB.

Dr. Will just coined the phrase "Jury Management". Another element for the new generation of reality shows.

There may be a larger online/live feeds following than actually TV audience. This result was largely attributed to them and was more of a "FU Paul" campaign than it was a Cody vote.

I agree to an extent.  But, I did like some of Cody's attitude.
* During the challenge where they were in the rain and had to read the prompter, Cody just read it, as opposed to constantly screaming and complaining.
*I don't remember him ever yell talking, like in the DR.  Paul and Josh are good examples of people that do that.
*The way he would roll his eyes at some of the absurdity of the game.  Can you imagine the look on his face if he had to hold on to a rope out of a unicorn's ### while it farted colored gas clouds on him?

Any social skills he might have played with went out the window when he went after Paul right out the gate, and BB gave Paul immunity.  He was vilified from that point forward.

im glad josh won.  I also thought cody would have voted paul.
I agree with both.  I seriously thought Cody was going to vote for Paul.  I know he hated him, but I thought he would vote for him out of respect for how he played the game.  I'm glad he didn't though... just to see him stick it to Paul in the end.

Raven arm locked with Paul on the stage while also caressing his arm was priceless.  The entire segment too through the Paul interview.   :lmao:

I also thought Cody was going to vote for Paul before the show started as a dig at everyone who Paul owned throughout the game.  Since Cody was not one of the sheep, and had the intuition (wrong timing, right play) to go after Paul and Xmas at the beginning of the game, voting that way would solidify him as one of the only good players this season.

Then when they were with Dr. Will, Cody didn't say much, but when he did talk I thought it was anti-Paul.  When Jess was brought on stage and said she'd for sure have voted for Paul, I thought Cody's look kinda gave away he voted for Josh.

While I thought it was going to be Jessica, Cody winning the cash doesn't surprise me at all.

The whole thing is weird.  Twitter ladies: We love Cody because he 'played the game' and stood up to Paul.  We hate Paul because he 'played the game' but he was too mean.

OK didn't see that bitter of a jury coming.   That cowboy is the sorest or sore losers, I thought at least he would have manned up by now.

Paul looked like he just blew the superbowl in OT, funny and sad at the same time.

I am assuming Cody winning favorite houseguest was some sort of online joke?  The look he had we she said he won was like WTF I don't like big brother, just get me outa here so I can go bang jess, keep your 25k.

Maybe I missed it but I wish they would do more questions after the winner is announced.

Also, there is way too big of a difference between what is shown and CBS and what really happens in the house.

Agreed, It was hilarious to see paul's reaction as the last 2-3 votes were revealed.  He knew he lost and couldn't believe it.

Has Mark cold cocked Josh yet?

I've always thought they should do more of a post winner session, like Survivor does.

Man, I sure hope he has landed at least one good one on him.

It was awesome watching Paul's face as every question he got asked was basically, Why did you scumbag us?  You could tell he thought he had made every right move and people would reward it.  I never agreed that BB should allow game play in their good bye videos, but it was probably his best game move.  Josh will go down as one of the worst winners on one of the worst seasons, but his play was underestimated.  Not many winners can go full tilt on other players and not pay a price.  He ended up winning 2 of the last 3 competitions and in my opinion won the final interview against one of the best talkers to play the game.

I thought Paul did a good job on his speech as to why he should win but he was awful at answering the live jury questions. I'm not sure how many of them were still undecided by that point but his answers were terrible.

I read somewhere (can't remember now) that Jess apparently campaigned big time on social media, etc and directed to military members to get America to vote for Cody so if that's true then that would explain him getting the $25k.

I feel like Jason might've voted for Paul to win but Alex was the most bitter juror and she does all of the thinking and decision making for the two of them.

And just when I thought Raven couldn't be more delusional ...
the sad part of that is I thought she actually sounded the most sane of the group when she was talking to Dr. Will. I liked her big baby comment

I believe in the house people had been mocking/questioning Cody's Marines service so I'm sure it would just take a couple of clips on a twitter feed to storm up some votes.

Paul continuing to lie in the Q&A portion after everyone had compare notes took Paul down in my opinion.  I didn't orchestrate any bullying???

yea I didn't get that one at all, I would have just owned up to making Josh do it, makes Josh look bad on top of it.

I was ready for Paul to dominate the Q/A interview and final speech session vs Josh, and ultimately win something like 7-2.

Then Josh manhandled him in the Q/A and I thought this has to fixed somehow.  How could that happen?  Mind boggling that the exact opposite happened...Paul acted like he didn't know how to answer anything and Josh pretty much nailed everything even if he was making #### up or over glorifying what he did/didn't do.  Xmas gets a chance to help one of them out with the last question that wasn't scripted ahead of time and she basically asks an inside joke question to Paul.  I thought that was odd.

Josh follows up by butchering his final speech and I thought Paul nailed his.  Once he botched in the middle, he started talking so fast I couldn't even follow him.

In those sessions, Josh even did what other people have mistakenly done in the past....made multiple good points FOR the person sitting next to you.

I'm pretty surprised that Paul lost even though he screwed the pooch in the Q/A.  But like others have said, I wonder how many votes were left out there to be flipped by the time the Q/A comes around.  I'm guessing it doesn't matter as much as we may think.  Josh had to go to the super fan card and I thought he was basically saying everything he did was well thought out and part of his overall plan.  I don't think people buy that even though most of them are idiots.  They just voted against Paul.

I have a feeling Cody was strongly against Paul all along and that swayed a likely undecided voter in Mark (who wanted to run the game with Cody), which in turn swayed Elena.

Paul screwed himself when he evicted Kevin. Why would you not do everything in your power to take him to the end? Basically guarantees you win the competitions at the end and gives you the choice of sitting next to Kevin who no one would have voted for. I mean he screwed everyone of his allies over, may as well finish the job.

Paul may not leave empty handed though, seems Xmas may have developed a crush.

IIRC didn't Paul also say something like... I didn't go back on my word with anyone???  I just remember Paul lying during the Q&A and at one point they showed the Jury and people in the Jury were looking at each other thinking WTF... REALLY???

I just texted my sister that Xmas screwed up voting out Kevin.  Really, Paul and Xmas both screwed that up.  Kevin should have been in both their minds as the person to sit next to.  Have a feeling they didn't give crazy Josh much of a chance with jury either though.

A couple of times he came off wayyyyy too condescending, which is the universal sign that you have to be checked because you think your poo doesn't stink.

There's a nice way to tell people that they were gullible and their gullibility was repeatedly taken advantage of....and then there's the way Paul did it.

His final speech seemed rehearsed and Josh came off a little more genuine.  But good grief the guy got an entire group of people to throw a head of household competition so a woman with a broken foot could win a sprinting contest.  Josh, on his best day, couldn't have pulled that off.

Can't believe that on reflection Alex/Jason didn't just shrug their shoulders and vote for Paul.  They are both going to be very embarrassed (at their gameplay and their vote) when they watch the show back.

Best episode of the season since Paul finally got what he deserved.  I hate Josh but it was still satisfying to see the look on Paul's face when he lost.

Absolutely loved watching Paul start to cry when Julie said Cody's vote would determine the winner.

This is all the more reason to watch again next season.  No more Paul, no more Josh.

Josh may be the weakest winner I can recall.

Still saying BB21 needs to be the "battle of the 1st outs," where all the 1st-to-be-voted-out contestants return.

I'm way late to this thread, but I watched every episode, and I can't believe Paul lost this. This was a classic case of sore losers in the jury, as this was one of the best games, if not the best, I've seen since I started watching in season 4. I didn't really want Paul to win, as I don't like when they bring people back to play again, but he deserved it. He orchestrated the whole season.
