***Official Donald J. Trump Impeachment (Whistleblower) Thread*** (7 Viewers)

I wonder what he will do during his lame duck period if he loses the election. I feel like he will find a way to take it out on everyone...if he even accepts the loss.

Then I suggest you vote for the Democrat in November.
If there is one person you can't trust more than Trump, it's a Democrat.  No thanks.  Maybe when they come back to sanity and reason I will, but right now they are so consumed with Trump hatred they can't make any good decisions to save their life, much less provide any quality candidates.

Oh, yeah, they need to stop embracing far left policies and move back towards the center.  Their party is literally in danger of being taken over by Socialist and Marxists.  Like, Defcon 1 level.

Mmkay...pretty sure the Democrats aren’t acting like a tin-pot dictator and firing whoever speaks the truth.
Yeah, tin-pot dictators don't fire employees.  They kill them.  Or imprison them (and then kill them).  Or they just disappear (because they've been killed).

Seriously, this over the top rhetoric has to stop.  Has anyone ever actually lived in a country run by a dictator?  Or a lived under Fascism?  Trump is not even close to any of that.

It diminishes me to see wrong done to a good man.  In turn it angers me.  I wonder how long I will harbor my anger.  Perhaps I can find some solace in understanding that tides shift.

Lol...wife lived under Tito, so you might want to amend that.

The shame of it is Trump had his chance to respond to Vindman. Raise your hand and testify under oath. Or release the documents that dispute his testimony. Or allow your people with first hand knowledge testify. But as he did when he suddenly developed bone spurs, Trump took the coward's way out. Shame Trump didn't have the spine to go under oath, as Vindman did, and tell your side.

Such a coward.

But WERE they telling the truth?  How do you tell truth when you, yourself, heard it from 2nd, 3rd, 4th and X levels of hearsay?

"I suppose so", "I think so", "I assumed so", "I heard he said" are not phrases that inspire confidence that you're actually getting the truth.
Get with the program. Trump did it, but it's not impeachable.

Even Ted Cruz now admits that not one GOP senator believes he didn’t do it.  Maybe give up the ghost on this.

He testified truthfully to what he knew. Many people who have no political axe to grind found the situation troubling.

I can’t see even a Trump supporter defending the firings. It’s truly hard to fathom. And yet...

Why would you keep people you can't trust around?  Seriously, it was CLEAR that this was "get Trump" effort.

I think the hatred for Trump made people think things were there that really weren't there.  They let their emotions get the better of them and took a risk.  It didn't pay off.

Lt. Col. Vindman went under oath and testified to what he knew. There is nothing at this point that indicates he wasn't truthful. If telling the truth hurt Trump, that's on Trump. If there's any evidence that Lt. Col. Vindman wasn't truthful contrary to evidence the White House has, then the Administration had every opportunity to dispute it under oath. They didn't. In fact, they threatened anyone who would testify. Now the coward is looking for vengeance.

He was subpoenaed to testify so he did. That's the law.
Uhm...okay?  That doesn't make my point any less valid.

I would suggest if there is anyone to blame, it's Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Nancy Pelosi and all the other Democrats who pushed for this sham in their zealous efforts to "Get Trump".

Where are they now in protecting Vindman?  Hmmm?  Could it be that Vindman has now outlived his usefulness for the Democrats?

He complied with a subpoena and was truthful. Let that sink in. That gets you fired.

It's particularly heartbreaking if you listened to his testimony and professed love for the US. The country he served and put his life on the line only to have it turn on him. :(
Please spare us with this disingenuous explanation.  Not only did the same people taking up for Vindman not defend General Flynn, who served for much longer than Vindman and has an actual Bronze Star in the 82nd Airborne fighting for his country, they cheered for him to be thrown in jail. You guys live in a world of hypocrisy where everything is justified to take down the side you disagree with. At all costs. Collateral damage doesn't matter.

Besides military experience, I’m not sure what Flynn and Vindman have in common. Flynn lied to the FBI, and Vindman testified truthfully in response to a Congressional subpoena.

One was proven to have broken the law...The other, by all accounts, was truthful.

Is there some type of poker cheat sheet where a Bronze Star trumps a Purple Heart?

The Revenge begins: Washington Post reports that President Trump has targeted Alexander Vindman as his the first person to be removed.
Imagine what would have happened to him if he did something to the Clinton’s?

I think he will be ok.

I could agree with this and just remind you that Flynn told the *truth - like Vindman - under *oath in federal court. Let’s recognize that, shall we, that the best of Flynn showed up on that one day where he did that.

The Democrats hit rock bottom and just gave Vindman a standing ovation at the debate. Absolutely disgusting.
Why is it disgusting?   Seriously?

the guy answered a subpoena and told the truth.  Now he is being purged in an act of retribution and his honourable career is over.

seriously? What is disgusting about it?

What was the lie?
In his dramatic and surprise guilty plea in U.S. District Court on Dec. 1, 2017, early in Mueller's investigation, Flynn acknowledged that his false statements and omissions in FBI interviews a few days after Trump was sworn in "impeded and otherwise had a material impact on the FBI’s ongoing investigation into the existence of any links or coordination between individuals associated with the campaign and Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 presidential election," which the statement of offense he agreed to said. He specifically admitted to lying about asking the Russian ambassador to refrain from responding to Obama administration sanctions against Russia for its election interference and further requested Russia help block a United Nations vote on Israeli settlements which the incoming administration didn't agree with. Flynn also agreed that he lied about his lobbying activities in federal filings related to work on behalf of the Republic of Turkey throughout the 2016 campaign.

Just stop, they weren’t giving him an ovation for “serving his country.”  I hope DoD puts him in a broom closet on his reassignment.
I have a question and I know you follow all things Trump so maybe you can tell me - the NSC Directors for European and Ukraine affairs - both Dr Hill and her successor - have been fired - and now the NSC specialist for Russia & Ukraine (Vindman) has now been fired.

- Who is replacing these three individuals in the White House? TIA.

Actually they were.  And doing so with hi or.  So what part was disgusting?
Puts him there why?  Why the anger over him doing his duty?

To all the people defending Vindman’s reassignment: let’s assume for the sake of argument that it was justified. Can you offer me one reason other than pure vindictiveness that they had to do his brother at the same time?

Can't be trusted to ignore illegal actions of the administration. Or at least not testify about those actions to Congress.
