Can we get an update? Pretty sure they're like 95% to make the playoffs if they only beat Zona and SF in their last four games.A prediction four years in the making is finally coming to fruition!
The negativity surrounding these guys is off the charts this year. I predict they go 6 - 10 and the cupboard gets fully reorganized, including the front office. After next week, when the Bears are done taking their frustrations out on them, it looks as if there some winnable games; but at this point they themselves are looking like a winnable game on everyone's schedule.

@Hooper31 @seahawk 17 @The General@Doctor Detroit: Explain “would have won three of those games”Kinda funny that there are like 10 of us here and we are hated for no reason.
What a great season, love what is going on now. They have losses @Bears, @Broncos, @Rams and home losses to Chargers and Rams. They would have won three of those games, and were in every single one.
Pete Carroll is not the most respected coach but he's got these guys playing terrific in transition. Run the ball, play solid D, lean on Russell when it's appropriate. Say what you like but the recipe is here, they are a few parts away from being elite again. And I think they can beat anyone, on any given Sunday.@Hooper31 @seahawk 17 @The General
Other than the whole USC cheating thing and bouncing to the pros just before the poop hit the fan after saying for a decade “why would I ever leave college?” you mean?...Carroll. Great dude
Stay and deal with that or go work for the richest owner in pro sports who will build whatever you ask. Hmmm, tough call. Does that make him a saint, nah.Other than the whole USC cheating thing and bouncing to the pros just before the poop hit the fan after saying for a decade “why would I ever leave college?” you mean?
Let’s ask Pete. Mr Carroll, what do you have to say to those who accuse you of being deeply involved in the USC cheating scandal?
PC: “chew chew chew chew chew chew”
Seattle is a very good team. My hat is off to the coaching & the players. They are going to be a very tough out for anyone & I mean anyone. nice job Seattle Seahawks.Kinda funny that there are like 10 of us here and we are hated for no reason.

They'll try to win. It's who they are.Does Seattle rest their starters next week? Or try to win to get the more favourable Cowboys
Wife was at the game with her office buddy. They were in front row at 5 yard line. Had a blast.I did see it happen. From the 300 level. Most fun I've had at a game in a long time.![]()
Would they lose even if they rested their starters?Does Seattle rest their starters next week? Or try to win to get the more favourable Cowboys matchup?
Carroll said yesterday in his presser that starters will play as they attempt to keep their momentum rolling.Does Seattle rest their starters next week? Or try to win to get the more favourable Cowboys matchup?
Last I heard he could of played, but they shut him down. I think we handle Dallas with ease, after that I think we are in trouble.Where the hell is the official Hawks thread. The only other one I saw was from 2017![]()
Dallas going to be tough. I think Seattle is a slightly better team but homefield in playoffs is huge.
Griffin injury doesn't sound good, hopefully that's some gamesmanship on Carroll's part.
He's all goodLast I heard he could of played, but they shut him down. I think we handle Dallas with ease, after that I think we are in trouble.
Dude I had to......Last I heard he could of played, but they shut him down. I think we handle Dallas with ease, after that I think we are in trouble.
Ha ha, it's all good.Dude I had to......
Hawks overachieved this season, and will be right in the mix next season.
Mark Schlereth was on Cowherd's show this past week and said that Pete Carroll directly told him that they went back to a run-heavy offense after week 2 this past season when they realized that being too pass-happy was not playing to their strengths. I have to think that that said more about their lack of legit pass catchers than it did Russell Wilson (Baldwin was hurt at the time and Lockett was their only healthy pass catcher worth a darn). The Seahawks offensive gameplans this season make sense if Russell Wilson missed the season due to injury. To be that intentionally conservative (ie, inefficient and limiting the offense's upside) has been painful to watch.
Pete Carroll and that staff has to be given a lot of credit for the 2018 ssason, but if they keep Schottenheimer, and those weak offensive strategies, in place they deserve what they get moving forward.
I don't agree with this logic whatsoever.Mark Schlereth was on Cowherd's show this past week and said that Pete Carroll directly told him that they went back to a run-heavy offense after week 2 this past season when they realized that being too pass-happy was not playing to their strengths. Seems like the wheels are squarely on the bus to me.Wheels completely off yet?
I read that he was the first one in the building, and very motivated to play. I have no idea if he is in football shape or what kind if snap count he will be on.Any word in Seattle about Jarron Reed’s return this week?
My DL1 is on the BYE, so I’m wondering if I need to pick someone up.
any local buzz about whether he showed up in shape or what his snap count might be?
Also effects Seattle D/ST - I had him as a top 15 IDP DL with upside before the suspension.
Just saw Monday’s presser - Carroll said he came into the facility in fantastic shape. He will play, but until they see him they don’t know how much. Also that he’s excited for what it means for the Seahawks pass rush to get a guy back who had 10.5 sacks.I read that he was the first one in the building, and very motivated to play. I have no idea if he is in football shape or what kind if snap count he will be on.
I think Seattle is pretty clearly ahead of the Rams going forward. Honestly, I think the Rams defense got worse this week. Ramsey is nice, but he's not better than Talib/Peters combined. They are starting Troy Hill and David Long(who I liked as a prospect, but is still a very unproven rookie) as their 2-3. Teams can throw at will against this group. If the offense doesn't play a ton better, they are a legit threat to be closer to Arizona, who is improving every week. Will be a very interesting ROS for SEA.
They are still a good team but have been lucky in a few games and IMHO are slightly shakier than their record belies, especially on D. They seem to play "down" to their opponents, but no question they are still one of the better teams in the NFC.
But their chances are also going to be closely tied to their division-mates. Most teams' fortunes are, but this is one division where swings in records are primed to occur, IMHO.
LAR doing anything and everything they can to scrap back into leading the division, and at least an NFC playoff berth. They just got much better on D, and if they can figure out their O and keep it dynamic, they could very easily get right back into the hunt.
9ers looking like the cream of both the division and the NFC right now.
Arizona doesn't seem ready for prime time overall, but they can be dangerous and heat up offensively with a lot of talent. With Patrick Peterson set to return as well, their D might actually help keep them in games somewhat.
I think Metcalf could actually be the biggest upgrade, at least fantasy wise. He seems to be option #1 in the redzone now.Seems like the wheels are squarely on the bus to me.![]()
Dissley is a tough loss, but that means more for Carson & Lockett IMO.
This isn't true. Their biggest weakness is their failure to put pressure on the QB. Mayfield didn't even get touched. They have 10 sacks on the season. There are only 5 teams in the NFL with less. With no pass rush, they're putting a ton of pressure on a suspect secondary.I think Seattle is pretty clearly ahead of the Rams going forward. Honestly, I think the Rams defense got worse this week. Seahawks secondary is kinda awful, but the front seven can often mask that, hopefully getting their best DL from last season helps. Unsurprisingly, they haven't missed Frank Clark at all. Still can't believe they got a 1st for that guy, even if it turned into Collier.

Sacks aren't really a good indicator of pressure. Mayfield made tons of great adjustments in the pocket and was constantly avoiding sacks. Clowney has been a big upgrade on Clark, both as a pass rusher and run defender. Reed's return will make the pass rush even better. Now if Collier can start coming along, they might really be cooking. This isn't true. Well can't accuse Seattle of not being all-in. Fully expecting one of(or both) Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon to end up there as well.
