Espn hires their own team and puts them at the stadium. They don't just play a Sky Sports feed.So in the spur/bolton gm were the announcers on espn league announcers or english tv? How does that work on those feeds?
Park is still so clutch.United blew another 2nd half lead but stole it back at the end. Park with both goals.
I'd prefer Essien and Malouda. Silver lining if Kalou plays - the Chelsea fans will be singing my favorite Chelsea-Liverpool song at Anfield, which harkens back to the John Arne Riise injury time own goal in the 08 Champion's League game at Anfield. He comes from the Ivory Coast! Kalou! Kalou! He don't do coke like Adrian Mutu! Mutu!He crossed the ball in from the left, it landed right on Riise's head! That's why we love Saloman Kalou!'I can give to you nine men,' [Ancelotti] confirmed. 'Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Zhirkov, Anelka, Drogba. Malouda or Kalou, Essien or Ramires.

Drogba not starting today and Essien can't even make the bench. Kuyt and Torres always kill Chelsea - would love a draw today at Anfield.Liverpool v Chelsea line-upsLiverpool: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Konchesky, Meireles, Lucas, Kuyt, Gerrard, Maxi, Torres. Subs: Hansen, Jovanovic, Wilson, Ngog, Spearing, Poulsen, Shelvey.Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Alex, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Zhirkov, Kalou, Anelka, Malouda. Subs: Turnbull, Drogba, Bosingwa, Ferreira, Sturridge, Kakuta, McEachran.
The new owner's lady isn't too bad either.Joe Cole's lady> hey
Second goal by Torres was a thing of beauty.
Set up by one of my favorite players....internationally and in league....Meireles. He's been keeping Cole at bay and having some niiice first touches.
what a save from Reina!MOTHER OF GOD!!!what a save from Reina!
Where did he come from? The battle between Kuyt and Cole was great.Great game so far from Kelly, too. Nice to the kid holding his own

(19 if you want to include the MLS all star exhibition)Eephus>your boys vs. Ebbsfleet tonight at 6 PM on FSC.Two interesting stories....Wimbledon, the split-off of the old club that retained the fan support vs. Ebbsfleet, a team owned by a bunch of people on a website (MyFootballClub) who vote on the transfers, lineups, manager moves, etc.
AFC Wimbledon club newsFA Cup drawDepending on the outcome of two replays, we have been drawn against Milton Keynes in the FA Cup 2nd round to be played on 27 November. Most people know the way that Milton Keynes obtained their football club. It was wrong then and it is still wrong now, which makes this fixture very painful for us. However, when we entered the FA Cup we understood that this might happen and we will go about our business professionally and complete the fixture. But we would have preferred that it hadn’t happened. We have no further comment to make at the moment.

Thank God Mario got a red and is out....Tevez, Kolorav, Boetang are all fit and it should be a good game when City wins 2-1lot of talk of Chelsea running away with this thing. Just looked at the standings, and see ManU sitting just 2 points behind, with a nice 3 point cushion over Arsenal and $ity.It seems the rumors of United's demise have been largely exaggerated. Think I heard this is their longest unbeaten streak in a few decades.Nice to see Newcastle come up large. Can't wait to the midweek away game. Let's make it 12 in a row to start off the year without a loss18 matches in a row without defeat in all competitions

Why are they so upset? I'd think that they would want to play MK, no? Is this just because MK is a football league team and has better players?Eephus>your boys vs. Ebbsfleet tonight at 6 PM on FSC.Two interesting stories....Wimbledon, the split-off of the old club that retained the fan support vs. Ebbsfleet, a team owned by a bunch of people on a website (MyFootballClub) who vote on the transfers, lineups, manager moves, etc.AFC Wimbledon club newsFA Cup drawDepending on the outcome of two replays, we have been drawn against Milton Keynes in the FA Cup 2nd round to be played on 27 November. Most people know the way that Milton Keynes obtained their football club. btw- I watched the 2nd half of that game... reminded me of watching 2 decent Div1 US college teams play.eta- Wimbledon obviously the better team there, just lacking class on the final touch.Steve Tasker said:Why are they so upset? It's still on my DVR but I saw the score on ESPN bottom line(damn them for pretending to care about soccer now) and I'm not sure if I want to put myself through it.And apparently Arsenal were terrible in a 1-0 loss home to Newcastle today. Anyone see it? How ugly? Can't be dropping these points if they have any hope of staying top 4.
Saw the ESPN Deportes highlights of the game (minimal... not sure if that's due to the game, or time constraints on the segment)- looked like Arsenal got one shot worthy of highlights. Otherwise, I'm guessing they passed the ball around a lot around the top of the 18.It's still on my DVR but I saw the score on ESPN bottom line(damn them for pretending to care about soccer now) and I'm not sure if I want to put myself through it.And apparently Arsenal were terrible in a 1-0 loss home to Newcastle today. it was for a friendly so it wouldn't have been tying anyway, but what the heySo Andy Najar declined a call up from Honduras....

don't feel badly about not knowing the format, they changed it at least 5 times over the years. This year it is a single game. Winner moves on.Seeing Bobby Convey rise like a phoenix makes watching San Jose much more interesting. Always liked him as a player and is amazing that he was very close to retirement after injuries nearly destroyed his career.Seems like he has been around for ever but because he was the youngest player on the Donovan, DMB, Gooch U17 squad, he is still only 27 years old. Might be time to again break out the "Can Convey solve our eternal left back problem" game again.El Floppo said:So the MLS final 4 are set: LA Gals v Dallas, Quakes vs Colorado. All these years later, and I'm still unsure if this is still a home and home, total goals, or just a one off at this point. Have to figure the Gals are favored in a big way with RSL out, but I'd love to see my old home team, San Jose, somehow pull through.
he also was ULTRA careful not to burn any bridges. I think he wants to represent the US, but is not going to wait for ever for citizenship so he is going to leave both doors open as long as possible. If he wants to represent Honduras, he will have every opportunity to do so in the WCQiers for 2014.it was for a friendly so it wouldn't have been tying anyway, but what the heySo Andy Najar declined a call up from Honduras....![]()
Yeah, I think so too. Can you even imagine turning down a callup for your NT at 17? I would guess he wants to play in the WC and is trying to keep his options open. If that is the case, then if Honduras looks good and seems poised to qualify, we may not get him. But if they stumble, I bet he goes full force trying to get his citizenship pronto. No reason to force that decision 4 years out (yes, he could apply with FIFA to change but that seems like something you'd want to avoid if possible). He can't even apply for US citizenship for a couple of years I've heard.he also was ULTRA careful not to burn any bridges. from liverpoolfc.tvEngland U21 defender Martin Kelly is one of the most talented youngsters on Liverpool's books. The Academy graduate, who missed almost two years of his development due to a back problem, can play across the back four."The injury has made me more determined," said Kelly. "Having those two years out meant I missed so much from my development. I was lucky to get a chance to come to Melwood."Kelly broke into the reserves during 2007-08, helping them win the league. His senior debut then came as a substitute in a Champions League clash with PSV on December 9, 2008.Three months later the starlet was loaned to Huddersfield Town, where he featured seven times, scored a first professional goal against Walsall and earned high praise from assistant boss Terry McDermott. After returning to Melwood ahead of the 2009-10 season, Kelly was handed his first start for Liverpool in the Champions League group stage encounter with Lyon at Anfield on October 20 before injuries disrupted his season. He returned to fitness ahead of 2010-11 and found himself the subject of an England U21 call. Kelly rewarded gaffer Stuart Pearce with a headed goal on his debut against Uzbekistan.Alright, smartass.
