Who is Trevor?
I think he means Nacho. Not sure he was watching earlier in the season. I still don't know for sure who he is writing about. He responded to me with a p rick type answer.

I think we have to be fair to Chuck. He'd never seen Jimmy be anything but a f-up. Also, not exactly surprising that a lawyer like Chuck might look down on a degree from UAS. Finally, he has helped Jimmy out quite a bit in the past so it's not like he never did anything for him.

Not saying he couldn't have handled things better of course.

Yes regarding "handling it better".

I think what really made his reaction so ugly was the absolute disdain he had for Jimmy's schooling. While there may be a difference in prestige in law schools and some are way harder to get in to than others, the reality is that all lawyers take the same classes, pass the same bar, and, realistically, the lower level schools have much more stringent curves and are actually harder to get through than the elite schools (for example, it's waaaaay harder to get into Stanford or Yale than it is into Cooley, but it's waaaaaay harder to pass through Cooley with good grades than it is at Stanford or Yale).

In this situation, through sheer hard work Jimmy brought a case of substantial value to the firm and, arguably, bringing him on makes good business sense. Heck, give him an office, pay him a salary, and let him handle a pro bono indigent defense caseload or something. But in this case that option is blocked solely because his brother has absolute disdain for Jimmy's path which is absolutely conceded and indignant given that had Chuck thought about it for a moment he'd have realized just how hard Jimmy must have worked to get his license and just how hard he's working now. Total d-bag older brother move. And any argument he had that it's bad business to let Jimmy join the firm goes out the window.

Yep,

HHM didn't take Jimmy cause Chuck said the only way you get this case is if you cut Jimmy out.

If Chuck wanted Jimmy in, Jimmy would have had an office and got to work.

I dunno. Whatever he did for Jimmy was paid in full. Jimmy completely supported Chuck while he was going through his problems over several years and stood by him when he could have had him committed.

Chuck led his brother on and orchestrated his firm taking over the case and leaving Jimmy out in the cold. He knew how much this case was to Jimmy and how hard he was trying to do things right.

Chuck is a richard and now we know why Jimmy changes his name to Saul Goodman -- he wants nothing to do with his brother and I don't blame him.

Come on now. You don't really believe this, do you? It is way easier to be towards the top of the bell curve when you are competing against other bottom tier law students than against other top tier law students.

:lmao: I was sure that someone wasn't going to let that slip by.

Shutup, Chuck.

Maybe all parking garages in ABQ look alike, but something about the view from the one Mike got his job in looked a little like the one Walter used in his aborted attempt to take down Gus Fring.

i could be wrong. I have been before, except for that one time. Wait I may be wrong about that.

And what I was thinking was the chicken plant not the laudromat.

:lmao:

At least the University of American Samoa law school hasn't been absorbed by the University of the South Pacific at Tonga.

I'm sorry. I just couldn't help but Chuck it up there.

sure it is. especially for court reporters.

That goes for all lower courts in N.M. also from what I can tell. Maybe they make exceptions for Big Gulps.
Yeah it is pretty crazy that a court employee might actually have different rules than the general public.

Did you see how long it took "man mountain" to run away from Mike. It's because he's really fat.
Yep. He probably had too many.... Ummm.... Too many... something with a lot of sugar.
This?
That's it! Thank you, that was driving me nuts.
BTW: Would you consider the guy that Mike took the gun from (and popped in the throat) metal or not? Forget the fact that he was in some sort of video game.

Also, you may not have noticed, but during the parking lot scene, there was a square on the wall behind Mike that was played by the square you controlled in "Adventure."

He was about as metal as Nathan Lane in a bubble bath singing "It's Raining Men."
