So Woz is a nickname for Eminence? Why can't we just call him Eminence or Popsecret?Eminence.who is woz?My current ranking of worst posters in this thread:

Go with the manhattan.I do! I think I went heavy on the Drambuie (seemed like Saul went 50/50, RHE says more like 3-1), and the lemon juice was all I could tasteWhy not? Do you drink Scotch?Tried making a rusty nail last night. Do not recommend. :X

This. Frankly I'm hoping for more insightful and interesting. The scene with old Saul at the beginning sitting in front of the TV was maybe the best scene in the series so far. You don't need meth labs and explosions and space blankets to make a good show.Uhh...am I the only one that does NOT expect BCS to have as many "OH ####!" moments as BB did and not have a problem with it?
I really don't think this is going to be the exact same type of show.
Unfortunately I don't have a bottle of vermouth that's been hanging around for 10+ years like this Drambuie.Go with the manhattan.I do! Don't forget, guys!I started a thread in the Shark Pool:"We Discuss Better Call Saul Here So We Don't Have To Go To the FFA"sharkpool down???why do these threads always devolve into people making horrible predictions about what is going to happen next/soon?![]()

I have zero complaints.
Love the people saying "It's not breaking bad so I don't like it"
Who do we pitch this to? I need this to happenI think it would cool if seasons 1-3 take place before Breaking Bad, seasons 4-5 mostly take place after Breaking Bad, but the season 4 premier takes place during Breaking Bad, in the form of the most awesome 43-minute BB montage ever.I'm beginning to think the show will at one point (probably at the end) pick up after he's in Omaha at the Cinnabon. They're painting him as the protagonist you feel sorry for and sympathize with, and it's lame for him to just end up with the fate they showed in the prologue.
This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. Like that's not the actual end.
I fully expect them to dive deep into post-Bad Saul. This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. Like that's not the actual end.
#11 - "It's show time" is a reference to Bob Fosse's All That Jazz.
I think it was discussed earlier in the thread, and not sure if it was confirmed or not, but in that featurette clip that's linked, from that link, Vince himself says that Chuck is Jimmy's older brother
I haven't seen the clip, but isn't it obvious they are brothers?I think it was discussed earlier in the thread, and not sure if it was confirmed or not, but in that featurette clip that's linked, from that link, Vince himself says that Chuck is Jimmy's older brother
ummmm...what what ?

He wouldn't call his father "Chuck."There was some discussion earlier whether it was brother, cousin, or father.I haven't seen the clip, but isn't it obvious they are brothers?I think it was discussed earlier in the thread, and not sure if it was confirmed or not, but in that featurette clip that's linked, from that link, Vince himself says that Chuck is Jimmy's older brother

Were you making some sort of criticism there? Not sure what the "who saw that coming" is all about.ummmm...what what ?
pretty simple actually ...im asking if anyone remembers this scene in BB and made the connection to the opening of BCSWere you making some sort of criticism there? Not sure what the "who saw that coming" is all about.ummmm...what what ?
Hardly worth the call for the message.THE TOTALLY BIGGER easter egg is that when you call the phone number written on the inside of the matches (505) 242-6087, you get Nacho’s voicemail. Try it – it actually works.
Faster to copy/paste the number into Google to find out it's a real number.Hardly worth the call for the message.THE TOTALLY BIGGER easter egg is that when you call the phone number written on the inside of the matches (505) 242-6087, you get Nacho’s voicemail. Try it – it actually works.
They did the same kind of stuff all along with BB.
Yeah, that was kind of a running joke for a while. Figured it was common knowledge, that's why I was confused.pretty simple actually ...im asking if anyone remembers this scene in BB and made the connection to the opening of BCSWere you making some sort of criticism there? No.Did anybody else see a plot similarity between Saul's resentment at the wealthy law firm that is taking advantage of his brother, and Walt's resentment at his multi-millionaire partner who took advantage of him? Seems like maybe Vince Gilligan has this thing against big corporate style success?

What else more could there be to it?This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. Like that's not the actual end.
His transition into being a store manager at a failing Best Buy?What else more could there be to it?This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. Like that's not the actual end.
I wouldn't be surprised if they pick it up on the other side of Breaking Bad.What else more could there be to it?This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. Like that's not the actual end.
Not a chance, IMO.I wouldn't be surprised if they pick it up on the other side of Breaking Bad.What else more could there be to it?This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. Like that's not the actual end.![]()

This is actually not a bad point. I didn't really see Walt as being taken advantage of by GM, but similar situations that it'd make sense that each character wound up in.Did anybody else see a plot similarity between Saul's resentment at the wealthy law firm that is taking advantage of his brother, and Walt's resentment at his multi-millionaire partner who took advantage of him? Have to agree with the often-wrong Capella here.I would be stunned if they don't.Not a chance, IMO.I wouldn't be surprised if they pick it up on the other side of Breaking Bad.What else more could there be to it?This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. You think that was the only time you see post-Bad Saul? No way.
Agreed.I don't think we get any more post-Bad Saul. Maybe one scene at the very end of the series. He can't do anything but lay low the rest of his life.

What I meant was, I don't think we see anything beyond that point in time. We will probably see a little of how he ended up there, but I am only guessing maybe a few episodes at the end of the run.I would be stunned if they don't.Not a chance, IMO.I wouldn't be surprised if they pick it up on the other side of Breaking Bad.What else more could there be to it?This makes me think that there's more to that "last" scene we see in the opening. What didn't you like, or how do you hope it gets better? (just curious)I wanted so much to love this, but I only kind of like it right now. I feel like I'm liking it because I'm supposed to like it because I liked breaking bad so much. I'm hoping it gets better.
