***Official "Space Blanket" for Better Call Saul*** (8 Viewers)

Radical hypothesis: Chuck's mental condition is an unconscious reaction to his guilt at screwing over his brother. They already fished the possibility that it's related to Jimmy. That would make sense, in a weirdo Freudian kind of way. So now that Jimmy left, and he screwed him over yet again, his condition is going to get worse.

I wish this were a joke, but it's all too real. We have our own Saul Goodman. IN PAIN, CALL WAYNE!

He's even stolen the "Better Call" shtick. What an embarrassment. He's got billboards all over the place. Seems like a good time to take up graffiti.

I was kinda joking about the radical hypothesis part. The point was I kinda think Chuck is going to get worse and it'll rope Jimmy back into his life.

 
great episode. i was expecting this season's driving narrative to be either Nacho or the Kettleman saga. i'm pleasantly surprised how it's been mostly the jimmy-chuck thing and it has worked.

also, did anyone think the Soldier of Fortune wannabe with Mike might actually be undercover or CI? he was over the top about the gun questions and the macho bullcrap. it was like he was wearing a wire.

You know, I feel kind of bad for the University of American Samoa. That episode wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement.

RN isn't the only one who had reservations. I thought they would have difficulty with regular supporting actors as Saul only had the sec'y and the big bouncer/doorman and a show on just Saul would get old fast. I figured they would incorporate a chronic lawsuit client and thought maybe there wouldn't be enough juice for the show in the support side.

Yeah, Jimmy is maybe the 3rd-most compelling character on the show at this point.

I believe all the parking garage scenes are filmed in the downtown Convention Center location, including the HHM ones.

 
My mistake was thinking Gilligan would go for the cash and take the easy way out with this. I thought this would be an entertaining, but unimpressive, show that would sit on my DVR until I got around to watching it, and my primary enjoyment would be being taken back to the BB world.

Saul's time is coming, but the most intriguing things he's done so far is take the crazy people's money and make out some wills.

 
If anybody's carrying the show (and that doesn't necessarily always have to be the case) it's Odenkirk without question. Mike's great but he's not getting half the screen time and who's just watching the show for Mike?

The show is carrying itself just fine.

9 out of 10 episodes have been aired and you think his most exciting performance was writing up some wills and finding people camping in their backyard? season's almost over and yet "his time is coming"?
