Bingo. That and I'm actually WATCHING the show and not interesting in typing and reading what others think about it at that exact second.shuke said:It's a great show with a smart viewing audience that doesn't feel the need to over-analyze ever detail or try to guess what's going to happen next like every other mother ####ing TV thread in this forum.
I took it as Jimmy not wanting his dad to realize he had been duped again. If his dad saw the $8 in the drawer, he would have been embarrassed/ashamed so Jimmy wanted to protect him. The money that Chuck discovered missing from the drawer all those years later was, for the most part, money that his dad gave away to all the scam artists.I have to say that scene sort of hurt my soul little. Was really hoping he turned into Slipping Jimmy doing something noble that spun out of control.
I thought about that, but then again there are 2 cartons of Kools gone also.I took it as Jimmy not wanting his dad to realize he had been duped again. Right. That's why Chuck came to the conclusion that Jimmy was stealing. He was stealing, just not as much as we thought and not for selfish reasons.I thought about that, but then again there are 2 cartons of Kools gone also.
I was disappointed too. He just seemed so devoted to Chuck, even though its clear that Chuck treats him poorly. I thought that he'd protect his family above all. I was surprised when he stole the money. It seems clear that his dad gave away a good portion of that missing money, but Jimmy probably played a much bigger role than I imagined.I have to say that scene sort of hurt my soul little. That didn't even occur to me. Hopefully they show him giving the money to his mom in another episode.I took it as Jimmy not wanting his dad to realize he had been duped again. after he signed on to "Under the Dome"?my wife is in love with Norris. She was legit in mourning for a couple days after, you know...
Am I the only one mildly disappointed at this prospect? We already got Tuco, Hedtor and the twins....this is making the universe too small...I want the show to breathe on its own...love Hank, but it seems too much too soon...Uwe Blab said:

I want it all.Sounds like Davis and Main could use a Toilet Buddy.
All my favorite lines usually come from Mike.- One of my favorite lines was Mike " You're taking the next one. And bill me."
my guess like everything else on the showQuestions
- Does Jimmy's "two practices one roof" arrangement with Kim go down in flames early? Or do they string it along until next season?
Mike is gold. My favorite of his from BCS is the following. All my favorite lines usually come from Mike.
Loved that scene.Mike is gold. My favorite of his from BCS is the following.
Sobchak: "So, what you packing?"
Mike: "A pimento."
Sobchak: "Sorry, what?"
Mike: "Pimento sandwich."
Sobchak: "That's funny. Pimento. No, I mean, what are you carrying? You know, the piece? What's the make?"
Mike: "Pimento is a cheese. They call it the caviar of the south."
you weren't here for the 10+ pages of discussion on Trevor when that aired?Loved that scene.![]()
Also, the guy that played Sobchak is the guy that voiced Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V. All-time classic video game voicing.
Jimmy told them to drop the gun charge against Tuco or Mike would testify for the defense at trial. So he didn't have to take the fall himself (yet) and still gets the DA to drop the charges.Maybe I'm missing something, but Mike didn't exactly come through on his deal with Salamanca, did he?
"The gun was yours" isn't close to the same thing as "I don't think the gun was Tuco's, I'm not saying it was or wasn't mine, maybe he found it on the sidewalk while punching me in the face"
Couldn't the DA still have a good shot of making the gun charge stick to Salamanca? I mean the gun only had Tuco's prints, and there simply isn't any rationale other scenario regarding the gun without Mike saying it was his.

It is because the main character was called Saul on a different TV program. Why do they call it Better Call Saul when no one on the show is named Saul?
Feel free to answer in spoiler tags.
