And I'm assuming at some point Hamlin heard through the country club gossip that Saul was there that day with his theatrics.

They made it a point to show that Hamlin was no idiot last season when Jimmy was screwing w him.  I doubt they'll "dumb him down" now (and Kim doesn't really realize that Howard is smart).  

The obvious direction the show goes is that the cartel creates the issue that causes Jimmy to become Saul, but that's the obvious direction.  Jimmy went "full pinky ring" after his buddy back home passed away.  Now that Kim is interested in the "better call Saul" type persona I see something happening to Kim that makes him go even further into Saul Goodman (but, I am not the writers here.  I'm no where near that talented)

Body double basically confirmed by Giancarlo Esposito.  But it still doesn't make sense -- that burned body was already in the kitchen.  Lalo escaped to some country-side house, murdered them, burnt the body to a crisp, and then got that body back to his house before the feds and twins got there?

Lalo, imo. It doesn't take very long for a drug lord to get from Mexico to New Mexico.

Is Lalo really concerned with Saul/Kim at this point??

Lalo skipped town on a 7 million dollar bail and Jimmy is his lawyer.  Jimmy lied to him about what happened in the desert and Lalo almost killed him and Kim.  They were practically in hiding from him last season before Mike told him he is in Mexico and going to be killed.

I think this is probably correct.  

I could see the PI doing some eavesdropping and finding out what Jimmy and Kim are doing, Howard arranging a meet with just Jimmy to let him know what they are up to and that he knows that Kim is the instigator (the PI could easily determine that Kim is fully engaged while Jimmy is hesitant about it all), and Jimmy finding a way to distant himself from Kim's shenanigans and letting her take the fall, whether that be disbarment or, worse, prison.

Per IMDB trivia section, the music playing in the background during the opening scene of workers emptying out Saul's house was featured in the movie Days of Wine and Roses, which is also the title of the episode. While this information may spoil just the episode, I think it's fair to assume, given the use of the musical piece in this particular place in the timeline, that the theme of this season is revealed here. I think it's great how this show continues to deliver at such a high level.

Cannot recall if this was mentioned, but it seems like the only logical conclusion to Lalo's story on BCS is him dying at some point, but then again, Saul talks about him in the BB scene with Walt and Jesse like he is still alive (when they kidnap him and Saul was worried that Lalo had sent them), so not sure how that will play out.

The trailer made it seem that Kim was asking Howard if he was building a case against Jimmy/Saul, but now we know she asked the prosecutor

We know that all of the characters in that final scene, like Gus, Hector and the Salamanca twins, live to see another day in “Breaking Bad,” but was there a reason why Nacho didn’t take anybody else down with him?

Every single one of them is dead, if you think about it. There’s an ominous thing to this scene, where these are all dead men walking, watching the first man die. But they’re already dead, they just don’t know it yet. The image of Nacho is the image of sacrifice, true love and bravery. It’s not the image of revenge. The ultimate act that defines the character is the act of sacrifice, and not anger, but love.

- Who is Alvarez?! Gus and Nacho decided Alvarez would get the blame for planning Lalo’s assassination. Nacho even tells Juan Bolsa Alvarez has been paying him for years to work against the Salamancas. But in multiple watchings and re-watchings of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, I don’t remember an Alvarez. I Googled such a character and…no results. It would be completely unlike the BCS writers to throw a deus ex machina character into the mix, ever. So, again, who is Alvarez? Theory: What if there is no Alvarez? After all, if Nacho gave Bolsa the name of a real person, that person would be dead. And if Bolsa admitted there was an enemy so dangerous, yet he didn’t even know his name, he would rise to the top of Don Eladio’s hit list.

10 episodes I believe, but after reading your post I may be inclined to change my mind and agree. Maybe getting rid of Nacho was clearing the deck for what should be a lot of Saul storylines to come.

Well, yes, but there has to be a better connection of Saul to Mike so he can be called in as the cleaner to Jessie's mishap in season 2 of BB.  Saul seems to be using Huell more than mike at the moment. (Also, lalo is still ongoing).

I believe he is.  Also didn’t Bolsa say he already knew Alvarez was involved in the attempted killing of Lalo when Nacho said it was who he was working for.  I’ll have to rewatch but that’s what I thought I heard him say.

It seems like Saul did let Lalo's name slip on purpose. Is he using it in some way to separate with Kim by pushing her away, maybe have her get disgusted with him on his eventual decision to testify or not, so she doesn't get hurt in the end. Giving her an out somehow? I don't believe he would ever let her take the fall for anything.
