***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (3 Viewers)

If they decide to take out Carol, there is no way she doesn't get a bigger send off then what Bob just got..

Bob was a "c" character compared to Carol and to have her die in a flashback would be a huge let down. <_<

Kind of interesting that there aren't more babies around considering the potential lack of condoms, lack of active abortion clinics and the level of rapes going on. Although you could consider people doing away with babies as they would draw walkers. Also, from a pure TV production perspective, you wouldn't want too many babies floating around as they would handcuff the story/movement somewhat.

Scott Gimple is doing the Lord's work. He tied in Rise of the Governor, finished the fn prison storyline in half a season, and brought in Abraham's group in the latter half. The split storylines converging at Terminus had some very powerful episodes. You can't blame him for too much of Season 4's slowness - he inherited Glen Mazzara's dragged out mess of a storyline and did a good job getting things on track. Before Gimple took over, there was very little to work with in terms of production; the pace was necessitated by Mazzara's shortcomings.

And now... he has our heroes getting the hell out of the Terminus storyline and on to better things in just about the quickest way you could that still made for good television.

Big props to him.

Curious where you guys draw the line on Carol dying in a flashback?

What if the next episode begins with C&D chasing down the kidnappers and she dies along the way. Technically that's a flashback, would you have a problem if it went that way?

Yes sir. "Clear" was the episode that really impressed me and the series is in more than capable hands with Gimple.

No. That would be fine imo.

Carol dies in the comics and becomes Queen Walker who unites the dead and undead, so I doubt that it is her in the woods

The one where she gives the "This is not the living America or the walker America, it's the United States of America" speech was very moving.

Don't forget BJ's are not the most hygienic thing in that world.

I bet the writers would love to add that angle to an episode.. "Jesus Rick, you smell like a Yeti"

"Holy Christ Darryl, you smell like squirrel ####"

"what is that smell? Carol? you smell like rotten shrimp dipped in diesel fuel"

We need a mowing lawn/showering montage

Daryl looked rattled. Not sure what's going on there.

I agree they wouldn't kill Carol offscreen. Lots of possibilities though...

1. Carol is hurt and Morgan is helping her.

2. Beth is hurt and Carol is helping her.

3. Beth is hurt and both Carol and Morgan are helping.

4. They took Morgan prisoner and Carol is leading him.

5. They ran into some fresh red shirts.

6. They have new pet zombies on a leash.

7. Lori

8. Loki
Speculation based on preview of next episode:

I'm guessing that Daryl is rattled because Beth is all kinds of messed up in the head.
This.

The previews of Beth in what looked like a hospital in the city gave me a strong Suckerpunch vibe, like as if Beth had been used for experiments; maybe even lobotomized like Baby Doll.

Daryl may have just been checking to see if all was OK at the church before bringing out messed-up Beth, under Carol's care.

To be honest, I think it's an unresolved problem created by the initial creators who decided to deviate from the traditional zombie-bite-as-transmission-vector angle.
It's not a problem - as I discussed before the virus everyone is infected with could change into deadly virus transmitted through saliva after a person turns.
Yeah, we got this.

I'm anxious to find out who is with Daryl when they showed him at the end. My guess is it was Beth and Carol is dead. I am thinking the "Beth scenes" we have seen on the previews will be flashbacks.
I don't think it was Beth or Carol in the woods with Daryl. IIRC, the way he talked to whoever it is..."Get out here" instead of "You can come out". He has a prisoner.
Morgan?

Most everyone is dead. Might have something to do with it.

Probably too much to ask that discussion of previews be put into spoiler tags? I don't watch previews.
I'd say it's about as ridiculous and excessive as starting a new thread every week to discuss your mediocre fantasy football team.

By all means, please maintain the status quo and make this thread about you with a recounting of another of your epic life failures.
