They were all in the train car together, so I was assuming Rick already knew about Washington.
I think he does. Based on the dialogue at the start of the episode (that also included Daryl telling Maggie about Beth) it would seem that Abraham explained at least in part what he and his group are doing there. But Rick didn't have any sense of urgency to move toward DC at the end of the episode. I think that's what concerned Rosita and Abraham picked up on it too. He knows that's a conversation he's gonna have to have with Rick but figured now wasn't the time to do it.
I agree with your premise on Abraham waiting for a better time, but based upon what we saw with Carol and Tyrese, Rick may not know the full details. There wasn't a lot of time in the freight car, so it may have been a real quick summary and in Rick's state he probably wasn't listening. It wasn't until after Rick, Glen, Bob and Daryl were out of the freight car that mullet told his full story.

They weren't in the train car very long before Rick and Co. were taken out. The gunfire that herded them into the "A" train at the end of last season, was what attracted the herd that was headed for Carol and Tyresse to Terminus.
At the trough that alcoholic black dude who used to be a medic (and I assume will be dead by season's end) pleaded for their lives by bringing up the cure.So they had certainly talked about it. I can't remember who he came in with so maybe Rick wasn't there for the conversation - but if he wasn't, it's sure to come up when he askes "hey soon to be dead alcoholic former medic, what was all that stuff about a cure? Just bs'ing to get them to let us live or what?"

Aaaaw. I really missed the weekly ##### fest from the people forced to watch the show.
Seriously. If I was as angry after an episode as tdoss, I wouldn't be watching. It almost seems like these folks watch a different show. You see so many complaints in here about stuff like propane, which is 100% plausible, because they hear about gasoline shelf life and think fuel is fuel. I guess they are the ones that take party line talking points and believe whatever they are told too. That is bizarre to me when we get an episode like that which IMHO was an awesome start to the season. We even got the back story on the brutality that the Terminus folks had to endure before they took it back. Not sure I would start eating people, but it did answer almost every question we had about them and give a solid reason why.

Another good point. I think Rick "knows", but as we saw from that conversation Rick wasn't really thinking about that, so it was probably more in one ear and out the other. That said, I am pretty sure Abraham picked up on that and probably realized now wasn't the time to have an argument about where they are going. He is thinking that they need to get somewhere a little safer and then broach that topic.

I hate the way mullet guy speaks....did i understand correctly that he and his team were working on chemical weapons that would wipe out the human race? So are we lead to assume that his team caused all of this?

Just seemed like such a buried line in a nerd-ramble that no one seemed to react to.

It seems to me they may be doing a few shows about the people of Terminus before it came to be the Terminus we have seen. So we might go a few episodes of missing the main story. Kind of like what they did with the Governor.

He was on a research team that was working on chemical weapons to battle chemical weapons.

im not sure he has an actual ''cure'' ....more like an idea of what might work

Scott Gimple said on The Talking Dead last night the flashbacks were more for that episode and not an indication they would be used a lot during the season. As far as the people of Terminus we really only got to know two of them in any kind of meaningful way. Gareth (who Rick apparently has shot) and Mary (who got served up for dinner).

Speculation on what was the brief dialogue b/w Abraham and the other chick was about?
I'm guessing they are starting ti believe that Eugene is using them to help himself stay alive by lying aboiut the whole top secret cure

Agreed. Even though I have viewed one page from the comics about one event, I have no clue about Eugene, just what we have seen in the show. Just wanted to make that clear based on my one comic spoiler post a couple pages ago.

I don't think Eugene knows about the cure at all. I think he is all about self-preservation and hoping people will protect him thinking he has a cure. His spiel last night sounded so fake IMHO, although I have thought that since the beginning, so I probably read into every line thinking that he is faking it. I am assuming we will have a big scene with Abraham where Eugene either comes clean and Abraham goes nuts on him or he gets killed before he can come clean (with a flashback of him working at Walgreens) and Abraham goes nuts on who killed him. Either way, Abraham is going to go nuts at some point.

Carol's shot at the kneecap after the struggle was badass. She knew exactly what she was doing.
Yup. One of the many great things about this show is how the characters have evolved and grown. No one has changed more than Carol.

Only thing that would've made that scene better is she told Mary to look at the flowers when the walkers came in.

she should have told the zombies- "let me fix you a plate"

Ok. I missed something somewhere watching at work. When was morgan in the show? Like right in the last couple minutes or something?
Yeah WTF? I missed this too apparently. I stopped watching after the scenes from the next episode.
Terrible idea.

I'm guessing it was something to keep people watching from the end to TD but i bet a lot of people missed that.

I don't like watching next weeks previews and I don't watch TD.

I just happened to look up and it didn't look like a preview so i kept watching.
The worst part, IMO.. was the way they did.. Rick covers sign, cut to previews, go to commercial.. THEN add in the teaser of Morgan.. Seems we can count on this the rest of the season.. Watch until TD starts or you will miss something, that way TD gets higher ratings..
Yep, I cut out before the previews.

An extra what....90 seconds? THE HORROR!!!!!!!
It's not the time. I don't want to watch the previews.

she should have told the zombies- "let me fix you a plate"
"you could have aimed at my face". DENIED.

She and Rick were channeling from the same place. Rick told Bob to let Baseball Bat Dude turn. Carol let Mary get eaten alive. Neither of them were about to show mercy toward someone who wasn't deserving of any.

Don't forget Carol saw all the tokens the Termites had collected, including lots and lots of stuffed animals. So these folks had been chowing down on kids too. Carol didn't know they were cannibals but she knew they were up to no good.

Yep, Carol was doing it so that she got what she deserved. Rick's reasoning may have been less about mercy and more about speed/leaving more walkers for the Termites to deal with, i.e. if any of them came back into that room, they would have to kill two zombies or get surprised by those walkers. He may have been a #### as well, but he may have also been protecting a bit the back of their escape route.

I think Rick wanted to kill all the Termites. I don't think it was about easing their escape in any way. He wanted all those f'ers dead. He even wanted to go back after he got the guns. And with Baseball Bat Dude I think he was saying, "F this guy. Don't show him any mercy."

Yup. No more Farmer Rick. The place needed to be burned to the ground, but it was infested and burning, so not too far off.

Thought it was interesting too that she saw the stuffed animals, and didn't grab one for the kid- brought the crossbow and weapons only... a sign of necessity ruling out over humanity.

The slaughter scene over the trough was pretty intense in the beginning even though you knew none of them would get killed. Did anyone else think of ISIS?
:lmao:

No, I thought of the "old" way to slaughter pigs. Blow to the head followed by a cut across the jugular, windpipe and carotid to drain the blood.
I thought about how clean the blood drain was....whoever is in charge of cleaning was doing a great job!

Just came upon a S2 ep and amazing how different Rick looks.

Andrew Lincoln has shaved his beard for all the press stuff and Comic-Con stuff the past few weeks. He looks about 15 years younger.

Exactly.I DVR the show and start watching at about 20 minutes in so I can fast forward through commercials. I saw Morgan because I'll keep going until the end of the recording.

And if you aren't doing it this way (not only with TWD but every show) you are wasting 20 minutes of your life for every hour of TV you watch. Or wasting 60 instead of 40 depending on how you look at it.

How does anyone believe that this moron with the mullet has the cure to anything? He couldn't cure bad breath with mints.
It truly is awful casting...Professor Mullet to save us all.

Just awful...we all know it isn't going to work.

And ultimately the baby will hold the key to the cure...but it'll take us a few years to get there.
I still think Professor Mullet is just a bigtime bull####ter and when he finally gets exposed, his end will be spectacular.
that's my exact thought too, except the boxcar scene makes me 2nd guess that.

If they do this please give Em a cameo.

Seriously... wtf was up with the candles and who's the schlub that has to spend their life continuously keeping them lit.
"Gareth says iffin I keep on making these candles lit real nice, I can be a throat-slitter one day! Boy, that would be swell, wouldn't it? Me, an honest to God throat-slitter!"

I don't think Bob can be killed (if that makes sense?). He might be the smoke monster.
